I think I'm NEARLY back!LOL! by
Aud
Tomorrow I am going to school; I have been a bit afraid it was early,
but this day has done me well!
I have no lessons the day after, so I can soon relax,
but as I said, I suddenly feel a lot better!
I have worked a lot on my NYCO today, with no frogging.
That means my head is much clearer
(LOL!...

Gearshift Knob Cover (Yes, It's Really Knitting-Related) by
Mark
Here's an odd one for you. My sister, who's eccentric at best, (and I'll
stop there), has suggested that I knit a cover/cozy/mitten for her
gearshift knob, which gets too hot or cold, depending on the season, for
her (45-year-old) hand.
Any suggestions? Pictures of said gearshift knob on my blog...

Sunday Morning rant: Feb 13th by
Jenn Vanderslice
Good Morning all,
Since no one else has started the Sunday morning posting, let me be the
first.
First, an apology to my Feb. 6x6 partner that I haven't made your
squares yet. But in my defense: I wouldn't have an envelope to mail
them anyway. ;-) I need to made a trip to the dollar store!...

Beautiful!
Both were beautifully done in red & white. Norma made me a Canadian maple

I have received my threads from both Mark and Jennifer!
Both sets of threads were wonderful. Mark's had a description of each

Couldn't ask for better timing as it came in today. Thank you both, all

February 6x6 Received! by

I received my two squares from Christine last night, plus a beautiful
heart doily and a postcard! One is a pretty lavendar color and the
other multi-pastel.
Christine, I'd like to know what stitch the lavendar one is, it's
really pretty! The multi-color pattern is one that I just learn,...

Jan thread exchange arrived by
Christine in Kent, Garden of England
I received Janise's thread on Friday, but forgot (oops, sorry Janise) to
post about their arrival before. She sent a lovely selection of beautiful
colours and included something I didn't even think of; a description of what
she had used them for. that was a very interesting thing to do, which...

What is the best cast-on for socks? by
Laura J
The subject says it all. I usually use the Double cast-on but I'm afraid
that is going to be too tight around the ankle. How do you cast-on for
socks?
Thanks!

Wonderful Wallaby Question by
Carol in TN
Hello everyone,
I have seen several people post about making the "wonderful wallaby". Why
is this pattern superior to others that appear similar - ex: one on the Lion
Brand site? As most of you know I have numerous DGC that I knit for and
would love to have the sweaters fit better.
Sorry that I...

Stinky Question by
Susana
Hi everyone!
I'm hoping someone can give me some cleaning advice. Here's my problem.
About 3 years ago, I had a cat. When I got rid of the cat, I kept the
litter box, emptied and cleaned, in the hall closet. Until I noticed
that my towels smelled like poo. I guess I didn't clean it out as well
as...
