Corduroy Quilt? by
Debra
I've got a lot of corduroy in pinks and blues. It's nice soft stuff
that will probably be even softer after washing. Can I use it to make
a quilt top? Will I need to use big seam allowances?

OT Cleaning, griping & hardwood floors! by
Leslie& The Furbabies in MO.
I do not like cleaning my house- but I try to do some cleaning every day so
it doesn't get out-of-hand. I know some ladies/men get a great deal of
satisfaction from and enjoy keeping a clean and neat house. I like the
results but NOT the process. I'm trying to re-adjust my thinking into it...

Sure hope Ms. Tina is doing okay today. She has been heavy on my mind so
have been saying the rosary and praying everything turns out well for the
kids.

Washing your quilts by
Marie Dodge[_3_]
How do you clean your quilts? Do you machine wash them or have them dry
cleaned? All mine go into the washing machine on the gentle cycle and I use
regular detergent and fabric softener. In winter they're tumble dried and
in summer dried outside on a shady line.

of them every year. I know another lady this year is making covers for your

Quilt Finished - "Dancing Lights in Indigo Night" - Pix by
Bronnie
After 5 weeks hard work, anguish, ups and downs, I have finished my
latest quilt project.
It is a wall hanging 52x52 inches.
Inspired by a pattern in EQ5 and the twinkling city lights at night
viewed from my home.
I set myself a lot of challenges with this quilt, some met, some not,
and have lived...

Quilt For Me update - March by
Jalynne
Nothing, nada...can you believe it? I've had no energy to really do much, and don't
see much happening until sometime mid to late April, unless it's hand work. I've
been making jewelry, though...but i guess that doesn't count, since very little of it
was for me. You can take a look anyway. ...

Update on me ... some OT by
maryd[_5_]
As the long time posters know, we left Oregon where most of our children and
grandchildren live so I could care for my ailing mother. After 10 months
she graduated from hospice and DH and I got an apartment here in northern
Idaho. After a lot of looking, I finally got a job as a motel...

myself getting very frustrated when...

Stuffing the binding & Simon by
Leslie in Missouri
Okay. When I finish a quilt thru the quilting and do my squaring up, I
have always just laid rulers to the quilted sandwich and squared it with
my trusty rotary cutter. Now, I have heard (on this ng, no less!) that
my binding needs to be "full". How does one square the quilted sandwich
and still...

Pattern problem -- I need someone who can think better than me by
Violet \F'loonslayer\ Volfie
I found a nice little site that has a BoTM for free on it. The problem is,
I can't print out the pattern so I've been drafting up the blocks from the
instructions. I'm having a problem figuring out one piece of the pattern
and I need someone who thinks more mathematically than I do to tell me if...

have had her since she was a kitten. She is spayed.
Chloe is about 6 and very lazy. She will go after Tic Tac when she...

Color Theory: RCTQ BOM by
Dannielle
I have been looking, and looking, and then looking again at the BOM photos.
I look at mine, then I look at others. Some I love, some I hate...we all
have that with our personal color preferences. Regardless of the color
preference (and no, I don't even like mine, I'm just using up some old
fabric...
