Shellacing wire by

I need to coat ~100 ft of NiChrome wire with insulating shellac. This would
look and act just like magnet winding wire, except it would be resistive.
Can anyone point me toward a reference to apply the shellac myself? This
would be easy if I had a 100' warehouse to work in, but probably need...
