Fun Seam Ripper Suggestions? by
Mary in Rock Island IL
Both of my seam rippers have seen better days. I took a look through
quiltshops.com and didn't find any fun or even funky seam rippers.

have seen or heard of someone who has a great one?
This would be a great itme for my wish...

VERY SAD NEWS
There will be no Nativity Scene in Washington, DC this year !

Washington, DC this Christmas season. This isn't for any religious
reason, they simply have not been able to find three wise men and a
virgin in the...

Did you miss me? by
AliceW
Well, after 3 weeks on the road, I am finally home. I can finally sleep in
my own bed. I can finally have my morning coffee with milk instead of
powered stuff (and delivered by my hubby) and I can finally get back to
sewing.
I left for North Carolina on November 5th. It was a vacation of sorts...

I forget who helped me with how to make carolers capes out of polar fleece

Can you use cheesecloth? by

Hey y'all. Last year, I did a swap with a non-quilter pal from England. He
was supposed to bring me 100% cotton quilting fabric in exchange for a meal.
I didn't have the heart to tell him that what he brought may be cotton, but
it's not quilting fabric, lol. I'm informed that it is a type...

Would a piece of binding, or even a 1" wide strip of

I think it would add unnecessary bulk and...
