My sewing machine came undone! by
Phyllis Nilsson
I've been cleaning my basement and decided to close my sewing machine up.
Took off the thread, laid the spindles down, lifted up the front edge, and
lowered the head into the well. Unfortunately, one side came unhinged.
I will not admit to how long it took me to figure out I couldn't put it...

up would pop the addy. My explorer will no longer do that. Does anyone know
if I lost a setting? I use Outlook Express for my newsgroups. It is a pain
in the padoodie to cut and paste the addie when it worked so well...

Very OT -- I never win anything, except .... by
Sandy
One of the radio stations here sponsors a weekly (usually) get-together
called Wine Down Wednesday. They get a wine company to serve samples of
wine, arrange for some nibblies so the public doesn't get too tipsy, and
give away prizes.
Several weeks ago I won a prize. Now keep in mind that I...

Thank you, jeanne by

Bringing up the rear here, but about a week ago, jeanne showed us a site for
microwave heating corn bags. I was in a hurry and just kinda thought it was
about maybe something cute to microwave corn on the cob and impress my
friends. Since I've already impressed my friends =), I just passed...

There was an extra set of blocks made, and we all decided a charity quilt

Stuck by
teleflora
I think I have ADD. I have a room full of fabric, a bunch of BOM kits to
work on, a new doll pattern, a new redwork pattern that I can't wait to try
and a new Aussie Embroidery magazine.
And here I sit because I can't figure out what I want to do first, so I do
nothing.
I'm that kid with too...

[email protected]
I have read this before in a post ages ago that sewing on a treadle

does wonders for my husband when I sew on it, he gets really turned on
and I cant figure out why? Anyone got an answer for this?

Who wanted "Ugly" fabric? by
Sunny
I can't remember who wanted yardage from my ugly fabric. I know it's
rude to forget and all, but.... well I forgot anyway. Please, if you
wanted some of my infamous ugly paisley on toad-spotted brown fabric,
send me an email with your snail mail address. I've got plenty to go
around, LOL....

Pieced or unpieced on the bottom? by
Susan Laity Price
In Edna's post about uneven flying geese there was a discussion about
which should be on the bottom, the pieced section or the unpieced
section. I have always heard that the larger (in this case longer)
piece should be on the bottom because the feed dogs help ease in the
extra fabric. Alex Anderson...
