Studio/Singer electronics by posey
I have a Singer 580 and a Studio 860. Can I hook up the curly cord from the 580 to the carriage of the 860, thereby using the patterning built in the 580 (mylar pattern reader) on the bed of the 860 (no built in pattern reader), eliminating the need for DAK or an EC-1 connecton? Thanks Posey

studio sale by ArtaCloaks
I am interested in selling my machine knitting studio. If anyone is interested in what it contains, please email me separately. I live in NC and it is something that would be better picked up, rather than shipped. Donna Maltony Wearable Designer -- www.arta-cloaks.com

stitch dial setting for ribbing by toypup
Do you set your stitch dial at a lower value for ribbing in your standard sweaters? How much lower? I'm making my first sweater. I guess it will be trial and error, but I'm looking for a good starting point.

Singer LK100 carriage jams by LL Phillips
Just wondering if anyone can advise regarding the plastic knobs on the needles of LK100s. I've been advised this could be one source of carriage jams. Does anyone have a suggestion of something that could be substituted - perhaps in metal from another machine ? Lorraine
