Fantastic Plastic by pjerrell
Hi all :) I just started claying and I'm very excited about all the possibilities! Now all I need is talent ;) I had a couple questions, one how do I cut down on finger prints and distortion when I'm putting cane slices on an object? I want to neatly & completely cover boxes, pens, whatever but I...

2 questions by Barbara Forbes-Lyons
No, I don't always use canes for my beads. Sometimes I use solid colors and make swirlies, or scrap clay and cover with mica powders or paints...or use inclusions in translucent clay...or...lol. As far as holes go, it takes practice. I rarely pre-drill my beads before baking. I find it easier to...

Old Fimo by Fenrir Enterprises
This newsgroup is abnormally quiet lately... Forgot just how tough original Fimo is to condition. Gave up on trying to condition it (it hasn't partially cured, it's just /tough/, so I can't just get rid of it...) and chopped it into tiny bits, and have it coated in Sculpey diluent. So I'll have...
