Parkay flooring what? by
QuiltShopHopper
A friend of mine said that my 4 inch squares of multicolored batiks looked
like parkay flooring.
Does that mean the margarine side of the toast hit the kitchen tiles face
down?
"Butter!"
lifting the lid, "Parkay!"
But seriously folks, does anyone know what parkay flooring is?

don't eat the escolar! by
Dr. Quilter
On the 4th I went to a nice restaurant here in Seattle, and ordered the
escolar with greens. Turns out it is also called the ExLax fish, and boy
is that name right! Within an hour of eating it I thought I was
dying.... good thing is it goes away as soon as it appears, after you
hit the bath. After...

green, purple, red and blue. I am using a black batting and backing it
with a tone on tone black. The top turned out beautiful. Now the

Does anyone here use the stab stitch for hand quilting? I took a class
yesterday and I think I could get right into it. A woman in my guild does
stab stitch (in fact she gave the class) and she is very fast and very
accuate with it.
It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be either. Now I'm...

Is that the one you have to squeeze the handle to open the blade? I've had
problems with other tools like that - they give me hand cramps. But thanks
for your input. :-)
