Question on "Continental " and "English" knitting techniques by SlinkyToy
Most people knit a different gauge with each hand. Nothing to worry about, as long as you don't try to convince us that you ALWAYS knit to gauge with the recommended needles and yarn :) "AGRES" wrote in message news:6WAQa.59798$Ph3.5632@sccrnsc04... I've knitted English...

Well, I just finished this morning. I took the whole thing apart after reading all of your suggestions here and started over again. Now it is a full two skeins long in a wonderful looking seed stitch (which I had to do several times before I got it right) and it lays flat and looks wonderful! Now...

Hey Noreen by SlinkyToy
FWIW, I knit 2-ply laceweight yarn on 4mm needles. I'm a tight knitter. I'd probably knit cobweb on 3.5mm needles. YMMV of course ;)
