Ping: Yvette by

I got your scanned image ... but I still don't know if you're using EQ6! If
you're using EQ6, I can trace the PP pattern very easily, but it won't work
for you if you've got EQ5 (since you won't be able to open it).
Please let me know!! I want to help!! :)
Hugs!!

Very OT - Key Lime Tree? by
SewVeryCreative
I know this isn't a gardening group officially ... but I hear so much about
ya'll's green thumbs that I thought you'd be the ones to ask!
We have a Key Lime tree and it's gettin' cold here. We didn't plant it
outside - hubby wouldn't let us as he wants to bring it in during the winter
(since it...

Finished two blocks in as many days. Both are Carol Doak Paper Pieced
blocks. 2500 Member and December BOM. Both are pictured in my webshots
album. Next I hope to finish piecing 2 tops and mail them off to be
completed for wounded soldiers.

Art Quilt Exhibit at the Washington State History Museum (Tacoma) by
Lenore L
DH, 2 DS and I went to the Washington State History Museum this afternoon.
There is a new temporary exhibit of Art Quilts. I'm not really into art
quilts but this group knocked my socks off!
DH and boys went to some other exhibit and I concentrated on the quilts. I
stayed so long in that...

adding borders after basting by
Anne Rogers[_3_]
I'm putting together a very simple quilt from Christmas fabrics. As I
wanted to use up all the fabric, the design has 2 main borders and
because of the colours, I needed to space them out with 2 narrow
borders. The fabric is very busy, so I think quilting will be just what
is necessary to hold...

OT bed sharing and tiredness by
Anne Rogers[_3_]
I could really use the wisdom of some of you ladies who've been married
an awful lot longer than me.
After I had the hip surgery, DH moved a mattress into our room for him
to sleep on, he finally came back into our bed last night. I didn't feel
like I slept any worse, or woke up any earlier,...

Good customer service :) by
Sandy
Just a little update on my quest for a sheath for my embroidery
scissors. I ordered a sheath from Silent Stitches, and they offered to
send me a second style so I could see which I preferred. Lovely! I
ordered on 11/28, and the two sheaths arrived yesterday -- from
Massachusetts to Nevada in...

light fastness by
Jack Campin - bogus address
Does any manufacturer or testing organization rate fabrics by light
fastness? With real numbers?
We've had a bad experience with a quilt we made for somebody who
put it on his bed in a bright room for several years. Some of the
colours almost completely faded, much worse than others. So...

What's Frank getting Brenda? by
Taria
Someone mentioned Frank usually pops in here to ask
about presents for Brenda this time of year. Not
sure where he has been (maybe busy building her the
house?) I saw this and thought it would be a neat
gift:

spam by
Idahoqltr[_2_]
Maybe what we need is a manager for the group who can delete offending
posts and block trolls. Do we have an owner now? I would be willing
to do this, but I think we should have several that are able to do
clean up as needed.

Side Winder....Serious Xmas gift for fly tyers by
Val
I was sorting thru my fly tying stuff this afternoon (I'm getting rid of it
since my poor old arthritic hands don't cooperate anymore.) and the light
bulb flashed on. If any of you have a fly tyer on your gift list that Side
Winder just may be the ticket.
The tying tool called a 'bobbin' is a...

done with monster quilt and got a bonus upon completion!! by
offkilterquilter
So, I finished the commissioned wall quilt for my church friend a few
days ago. I managed to get all the binding sewn down (only time I
really enjoy handsewing!) while Mother was here - kept me from
committing Hari-Kari. It looks WAY better than I had ever expected and
she was completely...

This is the month for Trolls. They're hungry this time of year---please send
all trolls to Kate's Kitchen so she can make us a pot of Troll Stew. She's
pretty good at it.
You're welcome to bring side dishes.

Bringing the Pfaffs home by
Sunny[_2_]
Tonight a Pfaff Cover Style serger and a Pfaff 7570 sewing machine are
sitting on my kitchen table. Also the computerized embroidery setup
for the 7570. I am one confused woman.
I pulled the serger out of the box, looked at its five spools of
thread and pushed it right back in teh box. Apparently...
