Moving Back In........ by
[email protected]
Finally, the builder has finished working on our house!!! They did the
last major work the day before Thanksgiving two months later than we
expected!!
It amazes me how the builders thought we'd accept a quickie job where
they only buffed and coated the floor.......we weren't happy with...

Tambour Hook Use??? by
[email protected]
Since I'm thinking about this, has anyone used a tambour hook to
stitch or bead with yet?
For many years, I've heard about tambour hook embroidery and wishing I
could find such a hook. Then last summer I was excited to discover
Clover was selling tambour hooks but so far haven't had the time...

reconfiguring my latest Mac....upgraded to a G-5 iMac desk unit this

Searching for a sewing machine tool by
Woolstitcher
Yesterday I got a quick glimpse of the Fons & Porter show. I wasn't able to
watch much, as we were getting ready to go out for the day. But, in the
limited time I was able to see the show I saw them use some sort of tool
that attached to a sewing machine that allowed a person to sew...

Washing Needlepoint Canvas by
woodswell
This is going to sound a little gross.
Since I had not been stitching for quite a few years, I have had my extra blank needlepoint canvas stored in a back closet. Well, it seems tha the floor under that closet has rotted and being in Florida, the cockroaches have been coming in. They've left...

woodswell
We're planning/hoping to build a house in the next few years and I'm working on our house design now. I'd love to have a sun room for stitching, but the current plan would only have a space on the South East corner. But since we are in the very earliest stages - thinking about what spaces we need...

Painting perforated paper by

I need to paint some perforated paper and am not sure which type of
paint to use. I was thinking spray paint might be best since its thin
and will run through the holes. Anyone have any suggestions?
thanks!

Using a buttonhole foot by
windwatcher
I have a Viking Freesia 415 and I'm trying to use the one-step
buttonhole foot, which I haven't done in a really long time,
practicing on scrap of the garment material, including interfacing.
The rows come out two close together to cut between without ripping
threads on one side. How do I avoid...
