Gluing bead caps by
Christina Peterson
I really don't believe in glue, but I've been considering adding a dab of
glue to some beadcaps. Not the bali star, or 5 legged, ones, but some that
lay flat on the bead. Actually I usually put the flat ones against lampwork
to cover holes and stuff and then put a bali spacer over that. I have...

some questions, supply and other by
Maren at google
Hi all,
as somebody asked about sterling silver, I have some questions too.
I found that for wire buying Monsterslayer is the cheapest source
of wire, and I really like their large round coils. Is there anything
cheaper? - Looking for half hard and dead soft, maybe some full
hard wire in gauges...

First earrings... by
melinda[_2_]
I made my first pair of earrings last night, I need to work on my
loops and wraps but otherwise I'm very happy with them, despite
just getting the stuff from the local 'el cheapo' shop. I've just
taken pictures and I'll get them up after they've been downloaded
off the camera. I used a white...

OT I'm back too 2 -- to and from CA by
Christina Peterson
The trip to Mexico was "fast" and easy. Got to the airport around midnight
for a direct flight to Seattle, and after a few hours got a direct flight to
Puerto Vallarta, arriving at 5:30 PM (2:30 Alaska time). All other legs of
the journey were awful.
In Mexico, one of the things I did to fill my...

OT I am back by
Shirley Shone
I am back. DH and I have been on a coach trip to Wales.
Ancestors from both sides of the family came from Wales, so you could
say we have been "home".
The weather was quite good but cold. We had a couple of trips out in the
coach to the areas round about. Looked in a few churches and grave yards...

Drill press (finally) by
Maren at google
Hi all,
finally got myself a Dremel drill press today and wanted to report on
it.
I have only used it for may be 1/2 hour yet, but, I'm glad I did this
and I
wish I had done it earlier. That is, once I got it put together, which
wasn't
at all trivial (and I have some experience reading...
