What kinds of "Charts To Try"? by
J. Howard Trenouth
This is a separate thread from my "chart to try" thread posted Oct 28.
What kinds of charts/patterns/designs are people wanting to do, but are not
for some reason.
Looking for ideas for future chart designs for either individual charts or
book include.
Reasons such as:
Can't...

My plans for today by
Cheryl Isaak
Is to get the handful of groceries I need, hit the PO with some mail that
needs to be weighed, get through the laundry, vacuum and then find time to
either organize stash or otherwise "clean up" my stash.
And then, tonight, while the boys are at a hockey party (team only), I'm
going to stitch....

Clothespin Christmas Angel Kits by
aeromom[_4_]
I have been looking for a one of the XS Clothespin Christmas Angel
ornament kits. The one I am looking for has a chart for a penguin and
a polar bear which is to be stitched on the angel's skirt. Has anyone
seen one of these? I am not sure that these are even being made
anymore. I saw one on E-Bay...

I just came across a UFO that I must have started years ago, I forgot
I was working on it. The chart name is All Creatures, it was from a
Bucilla book. The picture is a tree with a bunch of cute animals on
and around it, at the bottom it says, "All creatures great and small,
The Lord God made...

From British newspapers....

stitching anything? by
anne
besides gloating, whining, or getting your knickers in knots, are you doing any
stitching?
I'm working on a Smithsonian Institution crewel pillow kit by Mazaltov's.
Instead of filling some of the flower centers with knots, I'm trying to use my
newly acquired knowledge of caging cabochons with...

OT - to lighten the mood by
Bruce Fletcher (remove dentures to reply)
A plane leaves Heathrow under the control of a Jewish captain. His
co-pilot is Chinese. It's the first time they've flown together and an
awkward silence between the two seems to indicate a mutual dislike. Once
they reach cruising altitude, the Jewish captain activates the
auto-pilot, leans...

Quick Hardanger question by
[email protected]
Hi everybody! I just wanted to ask a quick question. I'm working on a
small Hardanger doily as a Christmas present, and I'm at the
buttonhole edging (taking a deep breath at the mere thought). I'm
finding the corners a bit tricky, so I've been looking in my books for
tips. A couple of my books say...
