I saw pictures of your snowflakes...they're beautiful! Are they your own

Stole from Hell. by
Cher
Hi all, well the stole is finally OFF the loom...what a dickens of a job I
had with it. It just would keep sliding around. I did a sett at 10ends per
inch and did a balanced tabby weave... Eventually having it as tight as I
could, I wondered whether I ought to have four ends each side for a...

yarn donations? by
Angelicsong
Hi Kelly,
There are bound to be some charity groups that have some donated yarn to
work with. Some of our members have a hard time affording yarn but still
want to make things for us, so we have bins of yarn for them. Our yarns come
from people in our area that know about our charity and donate...

Janise Ross
I am very happy to report that I received my squares from Karen today.
Thank you so much. They are beautiful. Both are knit in Cleckheaton
Country 8 Ply Natural. The mauve square is a "butterfly stitch" and the
blue is a "honeycomb" pattern. They are so nice that my DD#2 told me that I

Blocking a finished garment by
Karen
How do you block a finished garment that is already assembled?
I am used to blocking pieces before assembling. I know some knitters don't
block, but I just have to -- otherwise for me, it feels sort of like wearing
an unironed blouse. And I found with wool that it evens out the tension...

Yet another eyelash question by
Kirsten Procter
If I'm knitting eyelash legwarmers, would it be a good idea to do the
ribbing for top and bottom in a differetn yarn, or will the ribbing
stretch just as much in the eyelash yarn?
I suppose I could make the gloves I was planning to make and
see how they work, but I thought y'all might have some...

Hi Ria and Everyone else,
I already tried a RCTY yahoo site and only a few participated so I decided
to close it down again.
Some people got the idea (in their own heads not from something *I* wrote)
that the RCTY site would be *taking away or taking over* from this forum.
Let me reiterate IT...
