OT - Happy thoughts, please by
JS
Okay, so I don't usually do this, but I would like to request some happy,
healthy pregnancy thoughts for my sister. She is six weeks along with her
second baby, and is having some cramping and spotting. She is in good
spirits and under a doctor's care, but I am still a little worried. Her
first...

OT Great tool for scooping out pumpkins by
Loren in Seattle
Have to share a tip I tried for myself tonight with great success. A friend
suggested using the inner lid to a canning jar, the nice round metal disk
part as a scraper for cleaning out a pumpkin. Worked better than anything
I've ever tried. Just thought I'd share a little of my...

Setting up my quilt area in Florida by
SusanTorrens
We arrived on Friday, after an easy trip south. Stopped at MaryJo's and picked
up the fabrics to make a wedding gift quilt for a relative. Picked up a couple
of other fabrics, but as I brought the fabric to make 5 quilts with me, I'll
have to stock up on the way north in the spring.
We've spent...

Hello,
I received an email tonight from the person sending *to* me but no
information on whom I am to send... did I miss something or did my

I am considering a long-arm quilting machine. Has anyone had any
experience with a Prodigy? It seems to have less vibration.
Thanks. Janet

Celtic Interlacing by
Paul & Suzie Beckwith
Gosh - I've had fun today...
Took a class at my *local* LQS (local = 75 miles each way...) in
Celtic Interlacing with Val Derks, and had a blast - she had us
drafting our own patterns with several books as reference, also some
of her own designs that she had done, and then we made a sample...

What a Stash Enhancement Opportunity I had! by
Monique Reed
My MIL is in full "fling" mode, contemplating moving into a smaller
house and getting rid of many things she's accumulated over the
years. Yesterday she let me go through her big boxes of linens. I
came home with a huge haul.
There are one or two pieces that might actually have been worked...

Quilting software by
Audrey Eischens
I'm a newbie to this newsgroup and relatively new to quilting even though
I'm in my early 60's. What quilting software do the "old pros" out there
recommend. I really would like to be able to design some of my own
blocks/quilts.
