galaxy floss by

I found a great buy for fifty cents at our local thrift store today. They
have a bin where you can pick up odd balls of wool or craft stuff that
people have donated. I bought a round tablecloth that had a stamped cross
stitch design and the design is called Blue Phlox. Someone had completed...

OT-or maybe on ?? by
Lucille[_3_]
Since this has to do with a thimble, maybe it's actually on topic
One day, when a seamstress was sewing while sitting close to a
river, her thimble fell into the river. When she cried out, the
Lord appeared and asked, "My dear child, why are you crying?"
She replied her thimble had fallen into...

It struck me this morning what a simple pleasure kitting up is. Sorting
out the fibres, attaching them to project cards, getting the fabric
ready, winding yard into balls for knitting. Nice,...

It is a 'tinting fabric with crayon tutorial'. I've had several
questions emailed to me about the process
and thought that it would be a good 'separate' post.
I wrote about it here and left references and...

beading by
[email protected]
I am just finishing a Lavender and Lace Angel and would like to know
when attaching the beads to a project should you use a thread close to
the cloth or to the bead? Or a beading invisable thread (that aren't
really invisable).
Thanks
Tammy

Totally and entirely OT by
Jere Williams
We looked out our back window today and saw, over a 6' wood privacy fence,
our neighbors big black labrador retriever -- up in a tree looking into our
back yard.
He had climbed a tree near their side of the fence, and was alternately
rubbing his neck on the wood to scratch it, and just looking...

Saskatchewan town. Her mum didn't go to Italy--she doesn't like
flying--and so is at home doing the farm chores. Yesterday a reporter
called her to ask how...
