Gross Post by
Cori
I'm sure by now most of you have seen the gross post that came down the
wireless to the group. I sent a copy to the google abuse people (since that
is how they got us) They targeted anything that even resembled a "women's"
group.
Hopefully they will be able to do what I can not and stop this...

Wig Heads by
Floss
All this talk about manequin heads brought back a very funny memory. I hope
you ladies get a chuckle out of it. Here goes: Back in the 60's, my mom
wore wigs and "falls". She used to store them on the styrofoam wig heads on
her dresser. She also used to paint lips and eyes on the forms with...

JW
I don't remember if I posted or not that I had mailed Stella's squares to
her and I received hers to me the other day. They are very nice! I decided
to kind of go with autumn colors and she chose perfectly! Also, the pattern
you used on the orange and pinkish burgundy (?) color was one of...

To my 6x6 partner by
Jenn Vanderslice
I am sorry to inform you that I will be unable to make you knitted
squares. After an hour's time and ripping out about 5 times before the
10th row, I've called it quits. I fear for the safety of my children if
I continue down this dark frustrating road any further.
I've have decided on two lovely...

Great new PATTERNS FOR WOMEN by
Helen \Halla\ Fleischer
Glad I saw your reply. I tend to just shift link posts into a folder to
check out at a later time, but then I saw your reply and noticed the name
of the person who'd posted the links.! Amazing how many creeps find their
way to the internet.

Squares received by
Janise Ross
Everybody....(and Cher)....
I am so happy to announce that I received my squares from Nora today.
They are lovely! The granny square is crocheted in a yarn similar to what a
former patient of my husband's used for the towel toppers that she gave to
him. It is a variegated green, white, pink, and...

A totally off-the-wall question but not 'really' OT either... by
Noreen's Knit*che
Hi group!
Remember when lots of ladies owned MANY wigs? They were kept on
those styrofoam 'heads' (stands).
Where can I get two or three of these in a hurry?
Reason: I'd like to use them for displaying Mobius at the Mile-
Long-Yard-Sale.
TIA,
Hugs,
Noreen

A quick follow-up to my previous post. I've found a source with a
reasonable price for the socks needed to make Sock Monkeys. I've put a link
