6x6 fun and lessons...LOL by Els van Dam
I have been working on my 6 patch. It is in two colours I thought that this would be a good time to try the two coloured knitting. Using left and right hand at the same time. The pattern is an easy one, out of my Norwegian knitting book. The first tries were frogged, not once but several times....

destashing for sale or trade by Madelaine
I have two items in my stash I need to get rid of. One is a cross stich wedding kit. This would be a really nice gift for someone who's daughter is getting married next June--you could give it to her for Christmas and she would have time to complete it before the wedding. I'll post the wording...

cable question by SuperEeyore
I've been doing an afghan square pattern from a book, and have done each different square pattern once. The pain one color squares and my newly learned intarsia squares are exactly the same size. The last square pattern is a simple c7b repeated four times. Am I pulling the cable stitches...

Possible major find by SlinkyToy
The UK wheel purchase fell through, email me off-list for sordid details. I'm trying to arrange a time to meet three "antique wheels, one of 'em one of those great big things". The price is right and happens to be only a few bucks more than the scotched UK buy, so I think I'll probably need to...

To my partners-to-be when 6x6 is in question by Pirjo Ilvesvuori
I can knit, that is sure. Here are the patterns: 1. Garter stitch 2. Ribbing 3. Stockinette 4. Moss stitch 5. Basketweave Lace is not my cup of tea, neither are the cable patterns.. they are rather difficult to knit. So the things I can make

I received my squares from Katherine today and they are absolutely gorgeous! Perfect choice of color! They are nice, textured squares in one of the deepest and richest reds I've seen. I love them! Jenn

Major score, read on by SlinkyToy
Went out to look at wheels today. Came back with: A great wheel. Needs more TLC than I can give it, but Bill Wyatt (http://www.wyattwheels.com) is just down the road and will true up the wheel, sell me a minor's head, and do whatever else needs doing, for a quite reasonable price. A gossip...

What kind of pattern is this called? by Bryan
I know it's something simple, and when I hear it I'll be like oh yea, I remember now. But it's basically like a "paint by number" type pattern, I suspect mostly done in a double crochet you either "fill in" a square or "skip" a square to make a picture in a field (like a blanket). I'm currently...
