I just had a "friend" -- not really even a friend, but a former co-worker
that I don't regularly see -- send me an email saying she wants me to knit
five pairs of wool socks for herself, her two kids (whom I've never even
met), her brother and her sister-in-law for Christmas. She'll give me...

project. A VERY dear friend of mine was diagnosed with leukemia and has
begun chemo. This happened very suddenly. She has asked me to make her
hats. Now this is a wonderfully outrageous and courageous lady who...

I've been seeing scarves made with chenille in a loopy design. Looks
sort of like a warm weather boa. Does anyone know how to make these?

to this board. You seem a very warm and friendly bunch of people! I have
been lurking for a while and have learned an awful lot, and developed a
large favourites folder entitled 'knitting' with many sub-folders...
