Library find - on topic! by
Jennifer Hepworth
I regularly browse my public library's quilting/crafting selection and
have enjoyed many of them over the years.
The latest 'find' is called "Foundation Borders" by Jane Hall & Dixie
Haywood.
It is one of the American Quilter's Society publications and is
chock-full of ideas for bordering any type...

Change of E-mail. We moved on the weekend. I won't be writing for a bit
as I have way too much cleaning and unpacking to do in the new place. As
well as trying to work full-time while pregnant. Thanx. Hope all is well
with everyone.

OT- Updated Pictures by
AliceW
Fran, I love the critters! All of them! But, I really love the sashiko
mini you made. I bought a book at Lancaster and some fabric, thread and
needles to learn this technique, but haven't had time yet. Your little
quilt is the perfect way to learn the stitches, what a great idea! Thanks
so...

Another top finished--yeah! by
Kathy in CA
Thanks! I thought as a beginner quilter I should start with traditional
piecing and now I have so many project running around my head I doubt if I
will ever have enough time. The sampler-type quilts give me practise making
different kinds of the traditional blocks. I hope to try a "picture"...

Kim's Rejoice Quilt by
Kathy in CA
Kim mentioned the Rejoice Quilt
(http://members.shaw.ca/kigraham/partners/Rejoice1.html) in the thread on
"BOM" and I liked it so much I actually printed out the whole thing today.
What I have in mind to do is just the center part with all the stars on
black as a wall hanging with a gold sparkly...

sewing machine poll by
Don/Gen
Does anyone on the list have a Brother ULT2003 or the Babylock Ellageo? I
was at an embroidery conference last week and had a chance to sew on the
Brother ULT. I thought nothing could beat the D1, but I felt the Brother
screen was so much more user friendly than the D1, plus it made...

I have searched this newsgroup for an answer to this question, but all
the answers I seem to keep finding does not discuss washing the quilt.
My wife would like to make a memory quilt using her mothers and
grandmother pictures. She is planning on printing the pictures on
iron on transfers and...

Mozart Beyond the Grave
When Mozart passed away, he was buried in a churchyard. A couple days

well, got the quilt all pinned down - DS helped me squish the batting
down - yesterday afternoon. Last night, I got the quilt sandwich sewn

that I have done...
