Still getting things Mirjam) by Katherine
When I got home from school today, there was a package for me from Mirjam. In it I found a lovely dark dusty rose doily and an olive wood rosary from the Holy Land. I have so many other things to put in my album! The bag which Els wove along with some books she sent me, the cloths and wash from...

Elan Pattern Solved by DA
The DH as a warping wheel for measuring warp lengths for his loom with a built in yard counter. Since I don't use his weaving tools ( or his yarn), I didn't think about asking him about measuring yards in a skein. DUH DA

Don is *truly* a DARLING! He went to the grocer's this am, and came back with not 1, but 2 knitting mags for me! Gotta love a guy who'll do that without being asked! 'course... this is same fella who'll pick up 'feminine things' without a qualm, too! Definitely a KEEPER, mesay! Hugs, Noreen

I've...

Going to Florida, huh? by Susan Carey
Just so you know, going to Florida is not always warmer. Just this past week, we have been colder here than my Mom in southern Illinois. Right now it is just 46. It may warm up, but this is also our coldest season. If you wait for February, it is much warmer and prettier. We may not have snow, but...

Question about yardage on an old skein by Teacher Gal
I've got two hanks of Kid Mohair from "Dyed in the Wool," which I hear has since closed up shop. Apparently they were only a wholesale retailer, so an internet search has turned up zip on the information I'm looking for. The company was out of Crowley, Louisianna. I'm wondering what the...

Myopia and exophthalmos by Wooly

Hexagon Directions II by bart
These directions are a little different than the Hex Directions, the first one is more for making Hexs that are solid ( one color ). These directions are more for making Hexs that are multi-colored, you can make each side a different color and all sides will have the same amount of stitches. This...

Karen, I have emailed you six times since late August... they don't bounce back, and I'm using the iphouse addy you gave me. I have to assume one of two things (yeah, I know, ass-u-me)... either you are upset/agry with me, or they're going in your spam/junk/bulk box.... Hugs, YS, Noreen --
