photographs on pottery by
pbhj
I run a contemporary ceramic cafe in Newport, South Wales.
I've done some internet research into laying down photographically
produced images on to our pottery pieces (we don't make our own pots but
buy in slip cast bisque-ware). Anyway from what I can tell theres been
some research into printing...

Nog iets aan uw email gedaan gisteravond? Het kan ook aan een tijdelijke

how to wedge? by
[email protected]
This may seem a bit stupid, but I'm looking for a detailed description
online, on how to wedge clay, preferably with diagrams.
It seems to be the first thing everyone learns, but we never did. We
always used prepared clay, but now we're in India and our stock has
dried out.
Books of that nature...

Best Cone 10 Glaze Recipes by
sam
Does anyone have any great cone 10 glaze recipes they would be willing
to share? I always interested in finding new recipes and would love to
have something new to try. We fire a soft cone 11 at around 2400
degrees Fahrenheit with heavy reduction in a downdraft gas kiln.

What are the largest pots you've thrown? by
sam
My largest pot was a bowl I threw about two weeks ago. I started off
with 25lbs of clay, centered it and in the end I had a bowl with a
diameter of 20.5in and a heigth of about 11in. When the bowl was ready
leather-hard I ended up trimming 8.5lbs of clay from it, which made me
realize I probably...

How much theory do I need to know???? by
sarah
Need some advice....
I'm relatively new to pottery (and LOVE it!!). My experience to date
has been from very substandard adult education classes, 3 hours a day,
twice a week for 2 years - not much teaching goes on as the classes
are very large and there is a huge mix of abilities. I have also...

We've just opened a paint your own pottery studio in Newport, South

Thanks

sandbags by
Lindsay MacArthur
At an upcoming craft fair one of the vendor requirements are sandbags
for securing the tent. I have never had to use sandbags before so I'm
looking for some advice as to where I can get some or how I can make
some. I would appreciate any and all advice.
