Silk Batting by
Sally Swindells
I've just seen an advert for Silk Batting (over here batting is often

http://www.thesilkroute.co.uk/products.htm
Has anyone used a silk one? I quite like the idea of doing a
wallhanging and using up the bits of...

Has anyone tried this ruler by Sharon Hultgren (I think that's her
name) - saw it in a quilt magazine and it sure looks interesting.

9 patch pattern by
A&T
Hey, I'm trying to locate for a friend... the 9 patch pattern that you
cut up again and sew back together.
I think we discussed it here and someone had a photo of one they had made.
don't care if the pattern isn't free.
If this rings a bell and you have slashed up a 9 patch, I'd love to hear...

Heading out by
KJ
I'm on my way to Texas to visit my parents this morning. I'm taking my DS
(27!...can he be that old??) with me. DS will be leaving for grad school in
NY next month and hasn't seen his grandparents for quite a while. I guess
I'm concerned that this might be his last visit with the two of them....

My Viking Dealer Adding to my Gray Hair by
Debbi
Now that my DD is home safe from Israel, you would think I could relax
and stop feeling stressed. WRONG! I have a sorority sister who has
liver cancer. I am making a signature quilt for her. While I was waiting
for the last of the signature blocks, I thought I would take my machine
in for her...

Hello Again! by
Angel
Hello gals...it's been a long while since I've posted to the
group, but I still see some familiar names. :) "Life"
forced me to push my quilting interests aside for a while,
and I even sold my modest stash. :(
However, I'm going to be a grandma for the first time come
the end of August and, of...

baby and quilt by
Denise in NH
I recently made a brightly colored baby quilt with buterflies in the
middle of neon colored churn dashes. I decided to give it to a little
guy from my church who just came home from the hospital, first time
since his birth 7 months ago. I brought it with me to church this
morning to give to his...

My Jessamy's 4th of July Surprise quilt top by

The digital colors are not accurate -- the blue is darker and the red is
brighter. I made lots of mistakes but learned a lot in the process.

Early Morning Happy Dance by

I just told DH that when "finish quilt" is first thing on my do list, it's
nice to get it scratched off by 6:30 AM! (Of course, I've been up since
3:15, but who's counting?!) I've been working on this
pink/cream/purple/green sawtooth star bugger off and on for 2 years--mostly
off, but still! ...
