A little OT - Of dragons and gator baby blankets by
Cats
I am making an applique dragon sample for a local shop
http://tinyurl.com/efrv6
and it's only part finished . . . . . .
but it occurred to me that it would make a lovely little
baby 'gator blanket.
http://tinyurl.com/lysbw
so I put the design into EQ and changed it a bit.

would like to make a present, the birthday girl has a poodle and she
loves him madly. When she took the wall hanging out of the bag her...

shipping SM and Pfaff opinions by
Sunny
Hi,
My mom has just told me she's giving me her SM -- bought probably 3
years ago if that. It's a Pfaff with all the bells and whistles
including a computer hook-in type of embroidery set up. I used it while
I was in Arizona recently and was quite frustrated with it....but
didn't have access to the...

not OT, suggestions wanted by
off kilter quilter
DH has been encouraging me to pick up where I left off in NY and start
sewing for money again. HOwever, in hindsight, the "name" on my
business cards was incorrect. I had "LRV Originals" then my contact
info, but the only truly original thing I did was an 8 of pumpkins
Halloween costume.
I...

Well, I just got a sample of a new batting from Matilda's
Own (Australian mfg) of a Silky Wool batting (60/40 blend of
wool and silk). This stuff is only just released last
month, and it's gorgeous! If anyone is into making...

Link to Gettysburg photos showing the Gettysburg battlefield before
superintendent John Latschar's ego ran amok and ruined it.

Long arm report by
Karen Garza
I got my Gammill on Thursday and I love it! I have been quilting for several
hours every day. I practiced on some muslin and some yucky fabric first.
Then on Saturday I tried a small quilt top. It has some mistakes and I
definitely need more practice. I put the binding on it today and it's now...
