Miniature Ivy? by
Cathy Weeks
Has anyone ever put a bunch of ivy on the outside of a house? My
searches of most sites turned up wallpaper with ivy patterns or potted
plants, not long vines.
I thought about using dark green wire, but getting tiny leaves to
stick to it seemed like a pain.

PConnelly
Hi all,
I have recently made miniature molder / shaper for creating miniature
complex moldings. It is not very difficult. The requirements are a drill
press and a purchased rosette cutter. The rest is basically a little work
to create the individual cutters. A short tutorial / how-to can be...

miniaturizing wallpaper tutorial by
PConnelly
Hi,
I have been experimenting with duplicating full size wallpaper patterns
in miniature. It has been frustrating for what I thought would be a simple
job. I have put up a tutorial/description of my first efforts and what I
have learned. Don't be put off by the conputer graphics instructions if...

Mistakes already! How to fix? by
Cathy Weeks
Sigh... the fact that I've already built on dollhouse doesn't count
for much it seems, especially when I built it 12 years ago because
this very simple RGT Victorian Jr already has mistakes.
I primed the housebody and painted the exterior, but didn't pay enough
attention to the instructions where...

Sorry about the goof for the address. You can get there by either one of
these:
http://www.modelexpoinc.com/
http://www.modelexpo-online.com
The worst part about it was I had a catalog sitting in front of me, and
still got it wrong:)

More copper flashing questions by
Cathy Weeks
Would Victorians have used copper flashing around the base of a stone
chimney? Or would someone in the current times - if they had a
victorian cottage they were restoring - would they use copper flashing
around a stone chimney?
In my web research I've seen lots of photos of flashing around...

My miniature furniture - Tell me what you think! by
WSH
Hi!
I've just posted 6 pics (alt.binaries.crafts.pictures) of some kits I have
made recently (HoM).
As they're my first, I was wondering if I should quit now or if I can
already work my magic on real scale furniture ;^p...
Any advice more than welcome!
Thanks,
WSH.
