Let's take a vote by
Dr. Sooz
Rachel, quit guessing about my life, okay? I didn't nitpick you. I
said *I* wasn't this or that (i.e., convinced), not that you were
ANYTHING.
No. I left and came back. I don't take meds for my head, though I'm
sure you (Dr. Tarter) would like me to. Let's take a vote, shall we?
I'll go if...

Bracelet Tag??? by
Black Cat Beads
Over on Wet Canvas a Bunch of bead makers have started a game of TAG! I
thought it wouldbe fun to do with The RCB group. These rules are pretty much
copy and pasted! I have made some changes to help along with the speed.
O.K...here's how it would work:
Sign ups would start now and run until May...

Organizing question (lampworkers HELP) by
Vedis Jansdottir
Hello, me again.
Just wondering how all you lampworkers out there organize your
stringers. I have my glass all pretty and organized in cardboard
tubing (not for the hot stuff obviously) But my stringers are all
handmade and difficult to keep track of.
Any suggestions?

AD - kinda - poll regarding Lapidary Journal article by
Kandice Seeber
Hi everyone!!
Many of you know by now that I wrote an article that's been accepted
by Lapidary Journal for publication in June, explaining in steps how
to make one of my Rosebud Whimsy beads.
The folks at Lapidary Journal asked if I would like to...

OT mood weirdness by
Dr. Sooz
Is it just me, or is anyone else here having mood weirdness this week? I'm
bouncing up and down -- normal one hour, depressed the next. And I can't
figure it out -- you know, why it's happening. (Usually it's pretty easy to
figure out.)
Just give me a hug and I'll be better! ...

Question - Bead Loom by
Dr. Sooz
I find off-loom beadweaving much more fun, and variable, and creative.
Loom-weaving isn't as flexible, IMO, creatively.
And if you're going to buy a loom, get a Larry The Loom -- that's what all my
loom-weaving pals say. They bemoan the money spent (wasted!) on any other
looms they bought before...

Big news by
Marisa Cappetta
Well, I can finally tell you all about my big plans because I've told the
boss this week. I couldn't say anything until now because I didn't want to
risk my employer getting wind of my news until it was a certainty.
Brook and I have a long cherished dream to work and travel the world. On
December...

Letting Go or Giving In--Lampworkers' Thoughts, Please? by
Karen_AZ
So, I have these beads. Some fun with boro I got to do just before we left
for vacation. I have them scanned and even written up to sell as individual
beads....no "companions" no small sets, just nekkid single beads. I really
like them a bunch. But a few of them keep making noises at me. I can...

Gold-plated graphite marble mold! by
Su/Cutworks
Once in a while I really wonder about how things work out!
The husband wanted a marble mold for his beads. He's really coming along
well, is on his third tank of MAPP and has turned out some beads that he's
really pleased with, so he decided to treat himself to a toy. So I found
him a marble...

Doing something tangible to help - Sorta OT by
Jalynne
But not completely OT.
Kathy N-V....we love you....Diana and I have been talking about you (all good, I
promise). We want to do something for you that is tangible. I wish we could take
away your pain, but since that's not possible, we'd like to give you a HUG, so that
we can be with you,...

Sooz's work by
Kalera Stratton
OK, for everyone who has been hounding Sooz for pics for the last two
years or so, I have something for you; I was the incredibly blessed
recipient of one of her bracelets, and believe me, "fabulous" doesn't
begin to describe this! "Mind-bogglingly unbelievably fabulous" is
getting closer, but...

OT update on my dad by
roxan
First, thanks to all of you for the nice e-cards, emails and posts of
support which I need at this difficult time. I am going to look at a nursing
home today since it just isn't possible to have him come home. Hospice
doesn't have enough care for him to be at home 24-7 and my mom can't do it.
He is...
