Denise Interchangeable Needles by
jess
I just ordered a set of these Denise needles online after researching
on several websites and reading good things about them. Does anyone
use these needles? I'd like to hear what a "real" person has to say
about them. I've never worked with plastic needles before and that's
one of the things I'm...

OT - Update on Thumb by
Mischief
I finally have some good news that I want to share with the group.
Yesterday I went back to the plastic surgeon about my thumb/tendonitis
and have been told that I don't need to see him again unless the pain
returns. I still have some stiffness but it's so much better than it
was even at...

Hello guests.....have it occured to you all that if they would just let us

Sides Getting Wider by
[email protected]
Good Morning
I have crocheted many years and never faced this problem. I guess
maybe this is the first afghan I have made that hasn't been squares
sewed together. Anyway, I am making the Navajo Afghan and after about
the first 5 or 6 rows I noticed it started "growing" on each side. I
have made...

Hello..

We live in an area where there are no fine yarn shops only a few craft
stores with their standard stock yarn..nothing at all special.
I have a list of web sites from my daughter where I can look for more

Suggestions? A scarf for my Mom... by
Noreen's Knit*che
Hi group,
My Mom acquired ONE 50 gram, 427 yards skein of ALPACA/Perlita - 100%
Baby Alpaca fingering weight yarn.
It's gorgeous, and she asked me to knit her a scarf, as she can't 'feel'
the yarn, and knitting is 'out'(crochet with worsted, yes)....
So...
Should I just garter stitch it?
Or should...
