Airdiana
Would anyone know how to construct these types of wings?
They appear as if they are made of glue, am I correct?

Beach Home Dcor 101 by
alalhp6d
If you have ever rented a beach house for the summer, then you know
the level of relaxation and peace you can experience when surrounded
by beach home decor. So why not try it year round by adding the beach
home dcor to any room that needs a facelift? Since we cant all live
by the coast, this is...

Newbie Question by
Allen Mealer
I'm going to give polymer clay a try and bought a sample pack of Sculpy III
from my local Wal-Mart just to play with and try. Since there is a limited
amount of each color, how would the basic Sculpy white do as a base for
making beads, hearts and other solid-core...

Using a Rock Tumbler by
Allen Mealer
I'm sure I read something on someone's site about using a rock
tumbler/polisher to sand polyclay beads. Can anyone direct me there, or
give me any information about its use?
Thanks!

"Future" Finish by
Allen Mealer
I'm using Future brand floor polish as a finish for some of my first pieces;
after it dries, do I need to rebake in order to "harden" or seal the finish
before buffing?
Thanks!

and yet open seats by

Well, I do not want to handle these people, they do let them think I looked nice, I can do nothing to interfere. I first went to ask the piano thing last night.
but to the piano where the department, but did not see her. This guy did not come to work today, right? Last night, I did not seem to...

One Man's Rubbish... by
AlleyCatStudio1
The next time you see a discarded microwave oven set out for trash, check to
see if it still has the glass plate inside. I've found that glass microwave
plates make the perfect working and baking surface for polymer clay.
Cake containers (the kind with a plate and a cover) can also come in handy...

Tip on removing original sculpts from Elasticlay molds by
AlleyCatStudio1
Hi all,
I discovered an easy method to remove original polymer sculpts from Elasticlay
molds while lessening the distortion that often comes from having to pry the
original out by the edges. (This applies mainly to one-sided objects with a
flat back).
Before baking the original, use a 1"-2" long...

Ebay: Customized pet magnets! by
AlleyCatStudio1
Greetings, I'm an artist who usually does 2d, with occasional forays into 3D.
I first discovered Cernit years ago, and recently got back into this after I
discovered SuperElasticlay moldmaking compound! I like the surface look you
can get when you press different colors into the mold. Here's my...

Lemon Pledge by
AlleyCatStudio1
Has anyone ever used this as a release agent? Years ago in sculpting class we
used to use it for plaster in plaster molds, but I don't ever recall seeing it
mentioned for polymer clay. I've recently tried it and it works much better
than talcum powder (probably easier on the mold, too). (I have...

Printing transfer sheets question by
[email protected]
Hello all,
I'm new to polymer clay and am enjoying learning more about how to do various things. My current aim is to learn more about photo and image transfers, especially hand-colored work, such as pastels and/or acrylic lettering, etc. My dilemma is that I don't have a color printer in my home....

Older Polymer Clay by
Always something new
I am fairly new to Polymer clay, and I have a question about older
clay.
Are there brands that are easier to recondition than others? I don't
want to get in too deep with something I might not be able to use, but
I found several auctions for older clay on eBay, which seems like a
good place to...

Well hello...I have already replied to 2 recent posts.
My name is Amy and I'm in Cincinnati Ohio. I've been working with polymer
