sculpeylll help please by
beady eyes
Hi,
I am doing my first piece - a pendant flower- and I have a question
that I haven't seen posted. I like making dainty flowers, the size of
real johnny jump-ups. Because the base of the flower is 1/2 " thick
and the petals are paper thin, how much time should I bake this
piece? Is this the...

sculpted face by
cAndRaley
Hi, I know I'm a stranger here, pretty much, but I thought I'd show 'n' tell
a sculpted face I finished recently:
http://photos3.blogger.com/img/209/2894/320/100_3912.jpg
It's the first one of this size, done on a heart-shaped Altoid tin (so it's
about 4 inches tall). More like a bas relief, I...

Sculpting Hands by
Kim
Hello to the Group:
I have a project I'd like to do, where I need to "sculpt" a human hand (the
left) and I'd like it to be 2 1/2 times bigger than the average human hand.
I'll be covering the surface of this hand in polymer clay.
I have never sculpted anything and this could even be a "casting"...

Sculpy Clay by
Neo Hawkeye
When painting scuply clay is it best to undercoate it first or just
lots of little layers of the specified colour.
I am painting my first model and so far have put 4 layers of yellow on
and it is still not solid yellow like I would want.
Any advice on painting this clay would be great.

Searching for PC bead article by
twinkiesmom
Hello,
I saw an article recently that featured a PC bead composed of thin
snakes of PC wrapped over cornstarch packing peanuts (which I assume
would dissolve in water after baking). I have searched all my
magazines in the past few months and can't find it anymore.
Please help!

secret pals for kids in special program by
kellyk
I'm a polymer clay artist in Illinois, and I'm looking for interested
PC artists who would like to be paired with a neat kid from this
community: www.generationsofhope.org . It's just an idea of mine
right now, but I'd like to implement it by the end of July, if
possible. I need about 20...

seed bead tube storage by
Carla
A couple of months ago, I saw a plastic ammo case used for storing clay
canes. I thought that would also be a good way to store tubes of seed
beads, to keep them upright and easily accessible, etc.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the website I saw it on. I've gone
looking for "plastic ammo...

shiny clay by
Postalgal1
I am a beginner and want to make pc beads. When they come out of the oven,
will they be shiny or is there something I have to do to make them shiny? Do
any of the clay projects come out of the oven shiny? What should I put the
beads on when I put them in the oven? Would wax paper work? Is the...

Shiny facest by
Dawn
I usually put a coat of TLS on the faces of my figures to smooth things out
and fill in any imperfections and it gives a nice smooth matte finish to the
faces. Well today I decided to mix in a little diluent to let it flow on and
level off a little better but when I pulled it out of the oven I...

I'll be in London next week and I'd like to do a bit of shopping, and
possibly try out the brand of polymer clay that I cannot find in Italy.
Does anybody have shop to recommend?
Thanks!
