Mall of American Knit-Out Pictures by
patetc
While looking for my daughter's picture at the Knit-Out, I spotted a
lady wearing a gorgeous sweater. The website is:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/23263095@N07/2281477447/in/set-72157603813917975/
and it's picture 100_0026, primarily blue in a circular knit pattern.
The back of the sweater is...

GRRR My Star Wars craft page is down by
Leah
I'm angry and disappointed, and my Star Wars knit and crochet chart
page is down for the time being.
Why? Someone didn't honor the injunction that they were for personal
use only and not to be used to make items for sale and have used not
1, but 2 of my charts to make a scarf they are now...

entrelac by
myswendy
Hi everyone!
I started teaching myself entrelac knitting last night. But between
watching TV, reading my instructions, and working around the pussycat
on my lap, I kept losing track of which direction I was working in. I
tried putting in a stitch marker to denote the wrong side of the work,
but...

Blocking question by
vanmier[_2_]
Now that I have found some thick foam mats to use...I have a question.
When blocking a rectangle or square shape piece, do you start at one
edge and work to the other? Or do you start in the middle and work
your way out like you would for a circle?
Sorry if this sounds like a silly question,...

Have started another moebius! by
Bernadette
It will be another lace one in a rich, dark red this time and again using
Sirdar, Blur.
This time instead of using a complicated lace stitch I'm using a simple
"yarn forward, knit 2 together" stitch but will intersperse the open
pattern with some rows of garter stitch.
You can see the...

Sweater progress by
Samantha Hill - take out TRASH to reply
Wow, I am really pleased with how fast this sweater is going (for a
reminder, I used the sweater calculator from knittingfool.com to create
a drop-sleeve gansey pattern and am knitting with two strands of
worsted, one black and one tan, creating a nice random marled look).
I figured out how to...

idea for stitch markers for tiny needles! by
myswendy
I spent weeks trying to find stitch markers for my size 0 to 5-0
needles. Regular ones were way too big! I tried making tiny loops of
thread--that worked but was very tedious. Finally one day, I was in a
craft store and wandered by the jewelry findings. I ended up buying a
small bag of about a...

Help Me Understand Pattern by
patetc
I haven't been knitting for quite awhile and am drawing a blank on
following the directions for an afghan I'm knitting.
The pattern row reads like this: Row 1 (RS) K 1, *yo, k 6, (slip 2
tog as if to knit, k 1, p2sso), k 6, yo, k 1; rep from * across.
My question is do I include the final k 6,...
