I am putting an I-cord bind off around the top of a purse that I plan to felt. I am all the way around to where I have just 3 stitches left on the needle and now what do I do? How do I bind off the last 3 stitches and join with the beginning?

More sock help by Spike Driver
Hello friends, I saw more post about socks and thought I would repost the two previous posts. http://www.royea.net/formula.html The url above is a very simple sock formula and the one I use in my head all the time. I never use a patter any more for a simple one color sock with not special...

Hi! My DH has a meeting to attend July 31 - August 2 in Tacoma, Washington. I will be going along for the ride. :-) We will probably stay in the area August 3-4, too, and fly home on Saturday, Aug. 5. DH is thinking about booking some type of guided steelhead/salmon fly fishing expedition for...

Still down (for now), but not out... yet. by MRH
First of all we had an extremely hectic weekend. Saturday Matthew and his girlfriend were in the mall in the nearby city with her little 3 year old son when her parents ran into them. They absolutely detest Matthew and caused a scene by ranting and yelling in one of the stores... to the...

What I got up to yesterday by Wooly
http://www.fysh.org/~slinky/pix/easter_wool.jpg ~350k for those of you on a skinny connection. This is what I do every year with the leftover Easter egg dye. That's about 6oz of mediocre white Corriedale wool. When it is dry I'll chuck it in a bin with wool from years past and maybe one day...

Blocking Question by hesira
OK you knowing knitters! Please consider my question. If a yarn is 70% cotton and 30% rayon and the label says dry clean only, how would you block it? The yarn is a substitute for a different yarn, so I don't think the pattern directions would necessarily be right. The original yarn was 100%...

Regarding Jane B and Gem by Shillelagh
Okay everybody..... Gem says she's going offline, so she won't likely see any messages by the bitch Jane. My suggestion to ALL of you - filter the bitch and DON'T reply to one word it has to say. FREEZE it out. Do NOT give it any satisfaction, because that's what it's looking for. It's up...

an RCTY "warm and fuzzy" by YarnWright
I'm sitting here, grinning, thinking about our 'family' here at RCTY... references to Lost Lambs, etc... and I just had to make this post. This group is truly the best, even barring the occassional flak (trolls), it just gives me the WARM FUZZIES, and I just wanted to share a group...
