Ot sewing by
EstelleUK
What I have been doing for the last weeks.!!
My 2nd DS is getting married in 4 weeks. The suit hire firm were unable to
match the chosen Fuchsia colour by the bride. A pleading phone call from DS
asking /pleading can you make 10 Cravats and Hankies for the wedding party,
resulted in the post to...

Ugly Fabric by
She in PA[_2_]
Started geetting in the uglies that some of you are sending me. I feel
bad for the person who has to make something out of these. Some are
just ugly and some are really ugly. Good job and thanks so much.

my challenge design pic by
kratersge
My guild turns 30yo in 2011, so our new challenge is "30s". The one
hard and fast rule is the size: 30x30.
Here's my first design on webshots; images of 30 of my quilts in
chronological order...

Provence fabrics... by
Kate in MI
Thanks to everyone who suggested I check out Le Rouvray. I discovered the
shop's owner is actually from Michigan (although she has been living in
France for several decades!)
I didn't meet her -- but her assistant was wonderful.
I bought 5 meters of the loveliest blue & yellow Provence...

FACEBOOK OT by
R. E. Wicker
I had my name and information withdrawn from Face Book over a year ago
and am still getting dirty mail in my personal e-mail box nearly every
day. It is disgusting and I guess the only way around it would be to
change my name.
I've never enjoyed little quips of information even from my...

Sort of OT - am I remembering correctly? by
IMS[_6_]
I seem to remember there used to be posts here from a fellow who would
write about his wife's quilting adventures, and add a link to his web
site for pictures of the latest quilt, and more stories etc. The
posts tended to be rather humerous and I enjoyed reading them, and
today for some strange...

EQ7 and granddaughter by
She in PA[_2_]
I had my EQ7 up and showed my 9 year old granddaughter. I explained
some simple stuff to her and she designed a fish quilt from the
applique designs and had a blast coloring the fish with the fabrics
from the programs library. It's like a coloring book without crayons.

EQ7 overload by
She in PA[_2_]
I loaded EQ7 and started looking at it, so much stuff it's
unbelievable. I told my husband I will never sew a quilt again, I will
just sit and design and color blocks. I just looked at the basics.
Have any of you actually designed a quilt and made it. The ladies in
my guild haven't made a quilt...

Another Stinker, I'm Afraid by
Sherry
I am about halfway through a quilt, and thinking about stopping even
though the rest of
it is cut out and ready. Is that a sacrilege or what??!!
It's not pretty and once I decided that, it seems like a waste of time
to finish. (and a
waste of fabric not to)
But! I have figured out what's wrong...

Hello from an "oldie" returning once again to the fold! DD#1 needs a
dresser scarf and end table scarf to protect her new bedroom furniture
from scrapes and scratches. I found the perfect tone-on-tone floral
fabric for the top, a matching solid for the bottom, and a stunning
green for the binding...

Oldest UFO? by
Leslie& The Furbabies in MO.
Louise posted that she'd finished a quilt that was 7 years in the making.
I'm curious how long we hold onto UFOs before they get finished or declared
'unfinishable'?
I have my very first quilt top- queen sized- with a bit of hand quilting in
the center. I made the top- finished the whole...

Quilt App Ideas needed: Sort of long by
Steven Cook
Hello all
Well, I need your ideas on something that is both quilting and non-quilting
related, but that combines very well. Even if you are not a techie, I still
need your ideas for content.
I think that most of us have an idea of what Apps are, when it comes to
those little mini-programs on...
