Back again by
Norma
Hi everyone, I'm back... again.
This past Fri night was our "installation of officers" for our chapter of
OES. There is an Installing Board and I was the installing Marshal. Which

officers for installation. Sounds simple,...

Hi Carol Ann,
What beautiful squares, especially the one with the heart in the middle. Thank
you for the pot scrubbies and other things too. I haven't looked at the
leaflets yet as I was admiring the squares.

embroidery on sweaters by
Marian Poller
After looking through a bunch of Italian knitting magazines (Susanna), I'd
love to do something with embroidery on a sweater. Apparently you need to
use a hoop and also a thin fabric between the sweater and the hoop which you
later cut away. From the illustrations in the journals, it looks like...

Check this critical pack from the MS by

DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR RUN THIS! Microsoft will NEVER send out patches, much
less post them in a Usenet group! Much less with a forged return-address!
It is most likely the latest virus that is hitting the net today.

Noreen's Knit*che
1. Natural, blends, or acrylics (and other man-made) fibers for
yarns?
2. Favorite weight of yarn to work with.
Hugs,
Noreen
Answers from ME:
1. I adore natural's to work with, and would have to say I prefer
them or blends. However, I use a lot of acrylics mostly due to price,

I just love days like this! by

OH, yes, Pirjo, that sounds lovely. I would like to do that now, but, alas,
this is not the time of year for me to have free time - not for 4 years,
anyhow. But you enjoy it for me.
Best,
Katherine

Picking up heel stiches by
Peggy Rogers
Hi! I've been lurking for a while, and now I have a question that I'm sure
someone here can help me with.
I'm currently working on my third pair of socks with heels, and I'm getting
ready to work on the heel flap. The pattern I'm using tells me to put a slip
stitch at the beginning of each row, so...
