What's the deal with White Jeans Machine model numbers? by
bromeliad
What's the deal with White Jeans Machine model numbers? I'm trying to
make sense of them so I can do comparison shopping. Except they don't
make sense. One web site says that #4040 is the same as #4075. I just
want one that does one-step button holing at the best price. Help!

De-lurking to ask for a bit of advice. by
Jolynne
Hi all! I usually just read this group for info, but I have a question
this time.
Is %600.00 for a rarely used Husqvarna Viking Huskylock 1001L Serger a
reasonable price? I've been researching sergers with the intent to buy
and I've come across this used one. I know I like Viking machines, so
that...

a new sewer-help with curtain length shortening by
aces1
I bought already made curtains. I want to shorten them. Any quick
suggestions so that it doesn't look tacky when I finish.
They are tab curtains. They fit the dinning room and the kitchen window is
just 3 feet away but a smaller window length.
Thanks, Chris in MI

Sewing buddies in London by
laurie
I am returning to sewing after many years. I was looking for a class
to refresh my skills. I cannot find anything locally. I can revise my
skills using books and memory but miss the sharing of ideas that I
used to get from a class. I used to make a lot of my daughters clothes
when she was small....

Roman blinds by
Lizzie
I'm going to make a roman blind for the first time. It seems simple enough
but one thing worries me. I read somewhere that if you have a wide window
it's best to make two blinds to hang side by side. The one I'm making is
84" wide. Can anyone tell me if a blind this width would work OK? I...

Wow Kate. I do believe you are right. They should be on the etiquette hell

payment for that. Even I could have done better! I look forward to seeing
the results of your expertise with these.

I'm presently using vilene interfacing 1085 in Australia, but am looking for
a similar product, non-fusible that is twice the thickness. It comes on a
50m roll and when unrolled lies completely flat. Does anyone know of this
product? I buy through my dressmaking business, so any trade contacts...
