I'm looking for information on Petit Point kits, patterns, etc. I've

store the proprietor referred to it as "a lost art form".

Hi. folks, I am back to my real computer by
Gillian Murray
We got back from our summer away from the heat of Florida, yesterday
afternoon. I now have my real computer, and can access the group. I have
been using my iPad in the RV. It is good for many things, but not this!
I hope everyone is well, and keeping busy

Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornaments by
Ruth[_4_]
Picked my issue up the other day. There are a few interesting one's that I plan on doing. Anyone else get theirs? What do you think? Which one is your favorite? I have a couple that I would really like to get done this year, one is "If You Don't Believe" by Sue Hillis Designs, and the other is...

WooHoo! A finish! by
Joan Erickson
I finished the birth record for my former coworker's baby. I finally
got it stretched and taken to Michael's, who has had the frame waiting
for over a month.
It's an old JanLynn design. I wish I knew what type of aida cloth they
used because it was much nicer than most of what I've worked on....

Converting Paternayan old colors old to new colors by
Marco Andres
I've attached to this message a txt file containing the color conversions from the old Paternayan colors to the new ones. Now that the new colors are being produced again by Saco Dyehouse and Waverly also has equivalents to the colors, it seemed like a good time to include this conversion chart...

I sort my DMC thread by number. I have wondered, recently if by color isn't better. When I substitute color I find it harder to find the color. Input please

Time for "What are you stitching?" by
Joan Erickson
We haven't had this topic for awhile, so thought it was time again.
Currently I'm working on "Mice babies birth announcement" for a
coworker. Criminys, I didn't think this pattern was *that* old...can't
find a pic anywhere for it! It's a Janlynn pattern. This is the
closest I saw: ...

RIP, Jasmine by
Joan Erickson
My dog, Jasmine, went over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. I got her as a
pup for Mother's Day in 2001 and it was the day after Mother's Day when
she left us. 13 is pretty old for a lab, so she had a good, long life.
She was hard of hearing and her bodily functions were leaving her, so
it was...

Sad news by
Bruce
After a long battle with COPD my dear wife Maureen passed away in her
sleep at 1am on Wednesday 16 July. She had been bed-ridden for over a
week and on Monday the doctor fitted a pump to deliver morphine and an
anti-anxiety drug - much better than the twice-daily dose of oral
morphine....

Have you ever wanted to give away all your needlework gear? by
Kalmia
I am seriously thinking along those lines. My fingers are getting
sore, and I really have no desire to do any projects. My walls are
full and there is no one I want to make anything for.
Should I wait a year, or just tote all my floss, Persian wool,
crochet needles etc to the next local craft...

County fair wins by

I've uploaded pics to rctnp of my wins at the county fair. They're at
the very end of my album.
Is anyone else having trouble with yahoo not showing all the pics in an

reload a few times I get more each time, but never...

Knitting a Patch by

I know this isn't a knitting forum, but I'm hoping some of you can help me. My editor insisted I change the name of the next Betsy Devonshire book, which I was calling The Needle Case. After some toing and froing we came up with Darned If You Do. It's cute but now I have to add a scene where a...
