I'm back(funeral ment.) by
Sindir
Just got back home last night. It was a long couple of weeks. Thank you
everyone for your prayers and thoughts.
Dad's viewing and memorial service/funeral were beautiful. There were a lot
of people there that we never expected to see.
As far as our house goes, we still need some prayers there....

The how to of Hands of RCTQ by
Diana Curtis
The following was copy and pasted from my original post way back in May of
this year.
Someday I will get around to condensing the material into something more
cohesive but this will have to suffice for now.
The idea behind this quilt is to make and leave behind an ever growing
record of who and...

My friend and dog trainer, Susan, has a client whose adult, school

terribly abused, neglected, skinny, lonely 18 mo. old Golden

ignored his whole life- just a...

Buying a machine... recommendations? by

As some of you know, I've been having huge problems with sewing
machines lately. My SO, tired of listening to me curse at my old
beasties, has offered to buy me a new one. Actually, he offered to buy
me two... an el cheapo at Wal-mart just to get me through the holidays,
and then a real one in a...

batting with dark spots by
Roberta Zollner
I use a lot of Hobbs Heirloom Premium, which is 80% unbleached cotton.
Opened a queen-size batt last month and found (horror!) large areas with
dark spots. It was OK, since I only needed a large-twin piece, but I was
annoyed because of the difficulty in getting affordable cotton batting here
in...

OT Humor for our baseball fans :-) by
The HairyFacedOnes 'N Me
An Irishman moves to the USA and finally attends his first baseball
game. The first batter approached the batters' box, took a few swings
and then hit a double. Everyone was on their feet screaming "Run, Run."
The next batter hits a single and the Irishman listened as the crowd
again cheered,...
