"Removable" decoupage panel suggestions?... by
Steven
We have a solid door with a recessed center. The door in question is
similar to the "Infinity 8311 FM" model at the Simpson Door website
(http://makeashorterlink.com/?H249510C5).
We would like to decoupage the recessed area, but do not want it to be
permanent. In fact, we'd like to have various...

rubbery like silk screening/transfers by
Leslie
Hi-Can someone tell me how the t-shirts with that thick rubbery feel of the
design is made? They seem to hold up to washing better than any other kind
and are somewhat 3-dimensional. Just curious if it's something a hobbyist
can do.
TIA
Leslie

Ion Propelled Model Aircraft by
A.T.
This is one of the most unusual aircraft ever, it has no propeller, no
jets, no helicopter rotors, no wings, in fact it has no moving parts
at all. It needs no runway, takes off vertically, and will fly in any
direction like a helicopter. This 2 foot diameter model takes to the
air completely...

mini power tools by
Allan Adler
I'm reading The Mini Power Tool Handbook, by Zachary Taylor and
Colin Bullock. One reason I'm interested in small power tools is
that I have very little space to work on projects or store equipment
and materials in my apartment.
The authors recommend some precautions for dealing with dust, such...

windowcraft by
Gunnar Thormodsæter
Hi there!
I restore older windows and doors as a full time profession. I live in
Norway, and there aren´t many of us working with this here, so I thought it
would be nice to find a group on the usenet for discussions of technique,
materials, tools, etc.
I´m new to this group, haven´t even been...

AD: Scrapbooking Products and Partylite by
Babydi
First I'm going to start with Partylite because I really need to put
an order in. So long as we can get to $100 in sales I can give 10%
off. If we can reach $220, I can give 20% off. Feel free to pass
this on to anyone you know. Also, if you or someone you know would
like to host a book party...

flame retardant lauhala? by
Dolchas
Greetings all!
The basement billiards room I am currently working on is going to have
sort of a 'Tiki Lounge' style, and I would like to attach lauhala
matting to the ceiling (about 500 sq. ft). I think the ceiling will
be of flame retardant plywood, and I would also like to use flame
retardant...

fixative for fabric pastels? by
Pat
A friend made me a tshirt with a nice design using what he called "fabric
pastels". When I folded it to bring it home, the colors smudged a little
onto the other parts of the shirt that are not supposed to be colored.
I am afraid to wear it or wash it because I don't want to lose the...
