DGD also received the same color. Very nice yarn but not sure what to make

Snail Mail by
Janise
Yesterday was a great day here, as I received 2 small packages of yarn in
the mail. The first 1 I opened was my free Bernat Disco from Mary Maxim. I
received the same color, "Aqua Velvet," as someone else, since I remember
the reference to "Aqua Velva. My 2nd package was my prize for winning...

Thank you everyone for your help! by
MRH
I saved all the suggestions... and Gwen, that was a pretty neat trick... I
didn't know I could do that. ;o)
I do have everyone's suggestions saved now... to TWO separate places so I
shouldn't lose them again.

First knitting class by
The Jonathan Lady
When I first started to knit all those many years ago, I learned from a book
and everything I've learned since has been accomplished the same way. That
first book only showed the English method and that's what I have always
done. Over the years, I've made feeble attempts at continental knitting...

HELP!!!!! by
MRH
A while back someone on here told me (or us in general) how to clear the
stuff piling up on the computer. I *know* how to clear the History folder,
but I'm pretty sure the other stuff has been accumulating for a while now,
and with Matthew not home for another week I don't want to overload...

Great service from KnitPicks by
The Jonathan Lady
There have been other posts, both positive and negative, about KnitPicks and
I would like to share my recent experience. Last week, I ordered a book
from KnitPicks. When it came, I was disappointed to see some strange spots
on the cover and discoloring on the first page. The return information...

OT - Heading off to the city by
MRH
Going to meet up with Matthew for the afternoon. There are a couple of
meetings we need to attend to, and then there are a couple of places that he
heard about (not on a bus line) where I am going to drive him to apply for
work.
Be back later!

You all are the best. She found one that she loves from the lion yarn site
that's just perfect for her.

Chinchilla Yarn/Chemo Cap by
BonnieBlue
I want to make a chemo cap for a friend who is going in the hospital for a
three-week stint of chemo. I've read that Berroco's Chinchilla yarn is
wonderfully soft for chemo caps, but it must be dry cleaned. I don't want
to send a hat that must be dry cleaned.
Has anyone used this yarn? Do you...
