Toddler's pattern needed, can anyone help? by
pecan[_3_]
I've spent the entire day today searching for an interesting pattern for
a 2-year old boy, and haven't found anything that "speaks to me". Does
anyone have a pattern for me - preferably something with a cable - aran
- or at least something just plain interesting. I'm an advanced
knitter, btw....

Need help weaving in ends by
starla torres
Every time I weave in the yarn ends, they seem to work their way loose and I
end up with all these loose ends popping out everwhere. Usually after I
wash an item for the first time. What am I doing wrong? I weave them in
one way and then back again plus try splitting the yarn. If they are on...

Learning yarnwork - again!!
I'm trying to make a dog sweater because we moved to Sweden and my dog is

Amigurumi by
pecan[_3_]
Does anyone have any amigurumi patterns they are willing to share? I'm
looking for some that come out the size a thumb, or smaller, if that's
possible. I did see one some time ago, and it wasn't even on a knitting
site, and didn't have a pattern!

fibonacci by

When you use the Fibonacci sequence to determine the number of rows to
knit of
different colors of yarn, in a scarf, etc., do you go in sequence? exam:
2, 3, 5,
8, 13,etc, and back down ie: 13, 8, 5, 3, 2, 1, or do you jump around
randomly and
choose any number, in any order that you desire, in...

Cro-Knit Tension Keeper by

I just saw this in the new Patternworks that came to my house yesterday
and wondered if anyone has tried it. I think it might make my hands
less sore . I don't have any problem with thick yarns but this linen
flax is so thin some how and seems to be hard to work on my hand in a

help with understanding "basket weave stitch" by
[email protected]
Hi folks,
I have just begun to learn how to knit and I am trying to learn how to
Purl so that I can try to make a basket weave stitch. I have seen some
instructions that show clearly how to Purl, but they only talk you
through the first row. Here is my question: If I want all of the
