Name dropping on simply Quilts by
Bob & Kathleen
Have to take a moment and brag that one of the quilters Debbie Maddy
mentioned today, JoLynn O'Neil, is a friend and member of my quilt guild
here in Texas. I just got back my second quilt she has done for me and
it looks great. Now I just have to do the binding before giving it to...

CNYstitcher
A new virus package is circulating the Internet and is SPOOFING the
origination addresses.
I have captured several messages to day from bogus system IDs (SIDs) at
usncva.org.
The Email eludes to the fact that your account password has been changed
and you need to open the attached zip file to...

metallic threads and brands + monofilaments by
Frank & Renee
When buying metallics, is there anything I have to keep in mind? Does the
brand matter as much since there aren't cotton fibers involved? I found
some ebay venders with metallics (new) from Radiant Threads and Kreinik as
well as no-name (but probably made in Asia) threads...I don't know the...

Boy, did I get a shocker yesterday evening! A very pleasant shocker.
I am to the point, or will be this afternoon, of being able to sandwich
Alison's Hug Quilt! Hooray!
So I wanted to run to JoAnn's last night to pick up batting so I would
have it on hand and ready this afternoon. (The kids...

The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 cups of coffee
When things in your life seem almost too much to
handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise
jar and the 2 cups of coffee......
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in
front of him. When the class ...

The directory is here! by
KJ
I just got my directory. It's going to be fun to read through all the names
to see who's new and who's not. I always get a kick out of reading the
fabric preferences too. If your's isn't in your mailbox yet, I bet it's on
the way!

new photos - wallhanging by
quilter
I finished piecing a super easy wallhanging this week, made from bali
prints in a kit (from nancysnotion.com). I felt guilty about paying
far more than I should have for a kit in a moment of splurging, but it
was a dream to put together, so it worked out OK. Maybe if I make a
few more it will...

weeks or so. Lots of baby talk. Both of these babies have
wonderful new quilts made by their auntie, me! I couldn't believe
the thank you's I got. I already got written ones...

Path Through Jerusalem by
NightMist
I've a notion to make my mom a quilt.
I know that this is a hazard, being as how she generally has always
felt about homemade, but there you go.
I was thinking of a Path Through Jerusalem quilt, problem being that I
haven't seen one for at least 20 years, though I saw several as a kid
traveling...
