Quilt pattern search - Bisquit? by
Aprshowers
Ok, maybe I'm doing the wrong search, but can someone send me a link or
instruction on how to make, what I believe is called a "Bisquit Quilt"? I
saw one in the JC Penneys catalog and fell in love with it. That big pillow
stuffed quilt would make a...

klutz glove by
Joe and Maria
Just wondering if what those of you who own a Klutz glove think about it.
Does it seem bulky and get in the way?
Thanks,

Please join me in a happy dance for a finished Meghan's Garden quilt.
Who would have thought that for a few years before I joined RCTQ I thought I
would never make, let alone finish a quilt again! I found practical tips,
and encouragement here, and more ...

another question by
Dr. Quilter
A while ago I saw in one of those catalogues with cute presents that get
sent do my house for some ungodly reason, a cute star made of fleece to
wrap a baby. Legs, arms and head go into the 5 triangles. I figure I can
probably make one easily for Sofia, with some cute fleece and some
binding...

machine quilting curves by
Dr. Quilter
question for you experience machine quilters. I bought a new sewing
machine, because the tension of my 1968's SINGER was beyond regulation.
Got a sewing machine table, but I was still having trouble, so Fer cut
the legs so it would be exactly at the same level as the old one. I am
still having...

The Fabric Debate by
Marcella Tracy Peek
I know we've debated chain store v. quilt shop fabric to death. :-)
But, I came across an interesting article on the subject in an exerpt
posted on Jane Sassaman's website (worth a visit all in itself)
It certainly won't end the debate but it was interesting...

SM throat question by
Dr. Quilter
The throat of my new SM (if that is how you call the place through where
the feed dogs come up) is quite wide. The foot it came with is wide
enough to cover them, but also too wide to sew a 1/4" seam. If I put my
narrower feet in to piece with a quilter's seam, will the fabric get
eaten? It...

Been gone--but need OT christmas help by
Gerrycam1
My DH worked with American guys who had jeans so tough they stood up when you
washed them, like the ones he remembered from his youth. Can you suggest any
brand names that I could lookfor on the internet to buy him for Christmas?
Thanks so much

What is going on with Micros**t? by
Piglet
It doesn't come from Microsoft; it's a virus sent by folks who, to say the
least, don't wish the folks in Redmond well.
If Microsoft could, by edict, end viruses, I'm sure they'd be happy to do
so.

a bottle of wine, they retire for the night, and go to sleep.
Some hours later, Holmes wakes up and nudges his faithful friend. "Watson,

Rag Quilts with Binding by
JoyceG in WA
I've recently been working on some rag quilts, mainly because it's something I
can finish in a reasonable amount of time. I've noticed some rag quilts in
the LQSs that have traditional binding, and others that have the snipped and
frayed edges. I was wondering if using binding on the edges is...
