amazing service by
watchcat
I normally don't bother to endorse an online beadshop in a public forum, but
this was a bit unusual. In pursuit of rainbow moonstone beads, I stumbled
across www.exoticindia.com and decided to try a modest order. I mean, it's
got to be cheaper coming from the source country? It arrived here in...

Trolls by
[email protected]
We are all aware of the type of troll who posts childish obscenities
to multiple groups and most of us recognise as trolls those who post
general flames but there is a far worse kind of troll out there.
These trolls appear on the surface to be normal posters and are
certainly familiar with the...

I got a new torch! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! by
Kalera Stratton
I found an awesome deal on a slightly-used Barracuda... and even though
I was doing a good job of resisting the lure of moving to
Barracuda-land, I could resist no longer. That baby is MINE ALL MINE!
And hot. Whoa, it's hot! The flame is smaller and tighter than the
Midrange/Minor, but has a lot...

Wish me luck! by
Lee S. Billings
I know I haven't been around much recently, but I haven't forgotten you guys.
And I have some good news -- tomorrow I have an appointment with a gallery
owner! Right now this is only so that I can get into their monthly "artisan
shows", but if I can sell well in those, there's the possibility that...

OT - metal vs wood beds... by
KDK
Anyone know why metal beds cost way more than wood beds??
I've been looking for a nice silvery(chrome, pewter etc) metal bed and I'm
stunned at some of the prices. Geez.
Good thing I don't mind comparison shopping :)

OT Quickie Update on the Fetal Hitchhiker:) by
~Candace~
I just got back from my second ultrasound:) They changed my date to
something more in line with what I'd been thinking--it went from August 6th
to July 29th. So I'm 14weeks 5 days now, I believe.
Our fetal hitchchiker is an active tyke--lots of two-footed kicks and hands
going above the head. I...

AD - Desert Dreamer Beads on Ebay and Justbeads by
Karen Kreider
Hi everyone! It's been a crazy day, drove down to Tucson to find my
space with the AzSGB gang, unloaded most of the stuff but there was a
group decision to set up tomorrow morning. Cool beans, headed home and
diverted to a way cool "store" that sells old southwestern architectural
goodies (like...

Another one hooked! by

On Saturday Linda 2 and a friend of hers took Karen (my daughter who
introduced herself recently) to a local bead show. Thank you Linda,
she enjoyed it very much.
She bought herself some seed beads and a couple of other things,
including some beads for my birthday present. We talked on the...

AD - Keepin' it short and sweet by
Kalera Stratton
I am a wee bit tuckered out from all that beadmaking (my new torch
inspired a frenzy of beadmaking, of course, so I made more than usual)
so I will make it short and sweet... I have beads! A LOT of beads,
actually. Focals, sets, pendants, and a marble (the first I've offered
for sale, in fact). I...

OT - dryer lint trap help by
KDK
OK my dryer has the lint trap on top of the dryer. The trap itself is long.
So when I go to clean it I pull it out and little bits of lint go everywhere
(I don't think this is the best design for a lint trap). Bleh.
So any creative suggestions on how I can control the flying loose lint? ...
