Mounted or Unmounted Stamps which do you prefer? by
Missy O
I personnaly started out purchasing all of my stamsp from SU and love
them, then about 3 years ago I went to a stamp convention here in
Minnesota and I met the lady who sold The Angel Company stamps. Well
the long and the short of it is that I had a workshop, saw how much
room I could save in...

Christmas Cards by
Cecelia Medbery
Are any of y'all finished making your Christmas cards? I thought I was
ahead when I started mine in July, but have put them on the back burner so
many times that now I'm behind! Yikes!!! I'm using a retired Stampin' Up
set called "Curly Christmas". Not all are the same as that would make...

Hoping to drum up some stamping conversation by
Alison Bowes
Okay, well - no offense to the vendors, but COMMs and ADs are all that's
been around of late... it's a bit sad. Of course, I cannot complain since I
haven't been doing my part either!
So, I have hardly stamped at all in the past nine months (no, I'm not
pregnant), but recently I had occasion to...

What is your Favorite Technique by
Roscoe2
Okay so this group has been very quite so I thought I would try to
spark up a conversation with the group.
So, what is your favorite stamping technique? Mine, well I absolutely
LOVE those glitter gel pens. I am not a big fan of glitter because
once you use it, you pretty much wear it for a quite...

Ink pads by
Jeanne Burton
I buy all of my stamps from stampin' up. I have found them to work
the best. (That's why I became a demonstrator) I think they are
consistent and have never had problems with blotching. I tried many of
the stamp pads at Micheal's, but not with as much success. I also use
Staz-on for my non-porous...

Is this list always quiet? by
Diana
I just joined a day or two ago, and have only received two messages, one to
a post I made, and one spam. Is this list always this quiet, or am I having
trouble with my newsgroup reader? I'm new to newsgroups, and am used to
email groups, so any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Diana

cleaning permanent ink from stamps by
eliquint
What is the best/cheapest most readily available product to clean permanent
ink from my rubberstamps.
I tried just soap & water, that didn't work and neither did baby wipes. I
am new to using permanent ink and don't want to damage my stamps trying a
cleaning fluid that may work now but...

Unused supplies by
Jeannette Marsala
What have you bought and then never used but would like to know more about?
For me, it would the brayer. Although I recently used it to stamp a
large photo stamp, I don't really know what to do with it. I have a
small rubber brayer from Speedball with no other attachments.

How about we share our favorite stamping/recycling techniques? by
Jolly Green Stamper
Hi everyone,
I'm so glad to see some discussion up here. Thanks for the bubble-wrap idea
Cecilia!
I was thinking that a great way to help inspire us would be to share our
favorite tips and techniques. How about a discussion on our favorite
techniques/materials that involve recycling?
Recently...

Topic: what's your favorite embelishment? by
Alison
I'm a total glitter glue fanatic. A card with butterflies, dragonflies, or
flowers just isn't complete for me until there are touches of glitter
(especially on those wings!). PSX Diamond is my ultimate favorite, of
course, it isn't made anymore :-(

I have a cupboard full of adhesives and usually end up
using double stick tape for my projects. How about you?
What's your favorite adhesive? And why?

"reactivating" r.c.rs with some discussion - introductions first! by
Jeanne Burton
Barbara,
I'm glad I asked the question about the activity of this group. Look
forward to sharing ideas and learning. I am also a Stampin' up
Demonstrator. I just started in May, but am preparing for my first
Stamp Camp on the 16th. A pretty ambitious undertaking. 9 am to 10
pm. I have a lot of...

Good grief, it's quiet!! by
Alison
So, rather than pout, I'll make an attempt at starting up a thread:
If you could, what big ticket RS item would you splurge on?
Me? I just ordered a heat gun like Suze uses. My piggy bank was full, and
this is one of the things I knew I wanted to splurge the "proceeds" on.
I've seen some people...

What to stamp? by
Gina Bull
In an earlier thread Pat Kight mentioned that she doesn't make many
cards anymore, but does stamp. I know there are boxes, etc made to be
stamped, and gift bags and tags are a natural, but what else do you
stamp? I'd love some inspiration for what to do with my stamps besides
cards, bags, and...

Real Stamping Issues - Stamping Techniques by

Okay so am I the only one that is getting tired of those by this watch

I want to generate some chatter amongst the stampers so. . . . here we
go.
I am participating a swap right now and it is a technique swap. You

HELP! Looking for suggestions for my 'crafty' wife. ;) by
John
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you can offer.
My wife is really into scrapbooking and rubber stamping. I'm hoping to get
her a really nice gift, and hopefully very useful, but I know very little
about the subjects. What items could I get her that you love and can't live
without? ...

Looking for paper/cardstock source by
Serendipity
My favorite stamp store has gradually become more focused on
scrapbooking, to the point that they no longer seem to carry much
paper card/tag art. I am looking for a good on-line source for basic
cardstock, e.g. glossy white/black, matte white, coated and
non-coated, etc. I need a variety to use...
