sources for cro-needles? by
Amanda Tikkanen
I'm working on my second Wonderful Wallaby (mine this time, the last

pouch, but am having trouble finding anything other than the addi turbo
version for $26+shipping (a little too salty for something I won't use
all the time). ...

Astounding feat (feet?) by
Wooly

short socks, but my feet aren't particularly small as such things go.
I snipped 7" after I closed the toe and worked in the end.
This is actually a good thing,...

air travel and knitting by
betty
I haven't been reading the newsgroups lately so forgive me if this topic has
been covered recently.
I'm planning a trip via air (my first since 9/11). Any tips on traveling
with knitting?

I was eager to finish it, but did not think it wold be the MAY-FO!!!

site.... do you think I can find that information today? Nooooo! I just
looked through all my old emails and can't find that particular one with...

I know I've told some of you about a place called Santa's Village near where
I live. I thought I'd share the URL to their website. Just as a point of

May 6 x 6 received; request from Kimela by
Michele
Nora,
I received three beautiful squares from Kimela today. Two are vibrant red
and the other is the same red with white and black. She also sent me extra
'goodies' -two coasters that coordinate with the squares.
She sent a note requesting that I let you know - she wants to be included in
July...

What is the equivalent to Lyscordet? by
Yvonne
Hi everyone
Couldn't find a newsgroup specifically for knitting or crochet but this one looks fun!
I'm based in the UK and am thinking about making a top using a pattern
that states you need 5 x 50g balls Twilleys Lyscordet. That seems to
be an expensive option. Just wondering what Lyscordet is...
