Spanish Singer Manual? by
NightMist
DD#3 is in her term of home ec at school and they have come up on what
passes for a sewing module.
She has been partnered with a girl who does not speak any english yet.
They are getting by so far useing pantomime and what few words each

It would be amazingly helpful...

Whatcha Looking For? by
Diana Curtis
In a few previous posts people have been offering bits of their stashes to
applicants. Im not doing that here. A few people spoke out looking for
specific fabrics, pigs, elephants to name a few, so... I was wondering...
What sort of fabrics is everyone looking for? Do you have a need some bugs,
or...

Needing some tips about Dear Jane by
Trish Brown
Well! It's only a couple of weeks since I found out about a thing called
'Dear Jane' here at rctq. I wonder why I so badly need to make one???
Oddly, my quilting buddy (who now lives at the exact opposite end of the
country) has been infected independently of me and mentioned it
yesterday in a...

Hair is all gone./chemo by
pami
I was losing so much hair that I went to the barber shop this morning. I
had hair everywhere in the shower and I knew this was my buzz day. It feels
different but if I had let all my hair come off on it's own I would of
needed a plumber to clean out a drain. I will wear a cap out but at home...

OT Why I am never visiting Oz even for free beer by
NightMist
I don't much care for beer any way, and this just about put me off for
life:
http://www.ntnews.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,7034,18529468%5e13569,00.html
The resulting extremely cautious search has resulted in my resolution
to never ever visit Austrailia ever.

RCTQ Directory Vol 11 UPDATE by
LN \(remove NOSPAM\)
I've been asked when I'm going to update the directory...well, why not now?
Deadline is October 15th to get your info to me. This time we're trying
something different. Alice has set up a form for everyone to fill out. The
info will be mailed to me when you hit the submit button. Isn't she...

What are you working on? by
frood
I am currently between projects. Ok, not exactly "between" as in, "finished
that one, what's next" but, at a point where I can safely start a new
project and still get the others done and keep some semblance of sanity. (no
laughing from the peanut gallery, please)
I haven't yet decided what's...

let us know so we can see where you...

caught still in my nightgown at 9 am (on topic) by
Susan Laity Price
I have developed a new pattern to my day which was working well until
someone rings the doorbell.
I am out of bed by 6 am and read the newspaper while eating breakfast.
By 7:00 I am ready to start my day but the men folk in my house are
using all the hot water.
Lately I have been coming to the...

What part of quilting do you enjoy the most? by
Lynne Van
We've had this conversation before, but it's been awhile.
Really, I have two questions:
1. What technique do you like the best (appliqué, piecing, paper
piecing, etc.) Why?
2. What part of the quilting process do you enjoy the
most?(design, fabric selection, piecing, quilting, etc.)Why?
And...

I brought home a new old sm by

I went to my fav junk store today looking for old postcards and came
home short $27 but carrying a Kenmore 117.812 (circa 1948) in its
original carrying case. http://www.pbase.com/kuby/vintage_sewing_machines
Obviously this isn't my photo, but it's the same model and gives you

Copyright and stealing (ON topic) by
Kathy Applebaum
I've been rather bothered over the last few days by the posts indirectly
addressing copyright issues here. This is a subject that's been hashed over
many times before, and not a lot that's new is ever added to this debate.
Still, I feel I need to vent.
I've seen several posts advocating the...

http://www.ourcyberfamily.us/RCTQ/Directory/index.htm
The form will remain open until September 15th. That's 27 days from now

I'm hoping to have the Directory distributed by October 1st. Enjoy!
