Corina is putting out a new publication, and while the focus is on teachers, she is accepting ads from jewelry designers, lampwork artists, and suppliers. It looks like it's going to be really cool! http://www.flameguide.com/ -- -Kalera http://www.beadwife.com

My Awesome Kalera Geode by JavaGirlBT
As hubby and I were leaving the house to go to a meeting this evening, we stopped to get the mail. My package from Kalera had arrived! I bought one of her awesome Geode beads last week and it had finally gotten here. I was so excited I opened it up right in the car. I took it out of the pretty...

Samuel L Jackson wants you! by JC Herrell
I was watching Conan O'Brien tonight and saw Samuel L Jackson say that he would like a jacket with a seed bead lapel. A dark jacket with dark beads in a Native American kind of pattern. How cool would it be to see an RCBer do that for him? Email Conan to get the jacket... bead it all up.......

Crap crappity crap crap by Kalera
My rectifier seems to be toast. I was thinking it had just blown a fuse, but nope, it seems to be fuse-less. It's just... broken. CRAP. Yesterday my main annealer went haywire - I think it's just a relay in the controller, but waaaaahhhh! It still sucks. One more thing to eat up my time....

It's finally here, we're (British Lampwork) in the October B&B with our advert. It's so exciting to know all the work we've done trying to raise the profile of British lampworkers is now really getting its first result with the advert. The people at B&B have been so helpful, and we were thrilled...

ANOTHER annealing question by Fragile Warrior Sports Supplies
Okay, I'm less than thrilled with my kiln. What do you all do when you're making the beads and placing them directly in the kiln? Do you have to separate them from touching each other? If so, how do you do it? I had a bead rack in the kiln but then I found I could get less beads in there than I...

OT - VCheif Justice Rehnquist passes by Polly S.
May he travel swiftly and rest well. Chief Justice Rehnquist has passed away.. America is screwed. There will now be at least two hand-picked Bush justices. Goodbye rights of minorities and women, goodbye freedom and privacy.
