Real Masters? by
[email protected]
If you want to find real masters of their trade, and who probably
wouldn't consider themselves as such, try the Etruscans around 650BC.
There are examples of their gold filigree work in the British Museum,
for example, that nobody appears able to make today. This superb work
was done without the...

duzby
I have an inherited signet ring, which I want to repair. The gold setting is
fine, just needs polishing, but the stone is cracked in numerous places.
It is blue, and the blue has been engraved to expose the underlying black.
I understand this to be an Agate stone which has been carved, ad cannot...

Mannequin Necklace Stands by
[email protected]
Hello,
A friend of mine picked up some beautiful mannequin necklace stands at
a craft show. Unfortunately, she didn't get the contact information.
We'd love to sell these stands to compliment our jewelry parties.
Anyone out there know where I can find them?
Thanks,
Heather

more white gold by
robert merritt
I am to set a stone in a white gold ring using a bezel setting. I am a
little cautious about rolling 14 k white gold into bezel wire. Is it usable?
Are there any tricks to know about it compared to a silver or yellow gold
bezel?
