Katherine Burgess
Someone here posted a rug that she had knitted out of Crafter's Cotton. I
diligently saved the pattern, and, now that I have the yarn, I can't find
the pattern!
Help! Help! Help!!!!!
TIA

Elbow protector by
NoraBalcer
Just have to tell you what my DH asked me to make for him. He called it an
elbow protector as he wanted me to knit/crochet him a band to go around his
elbow as he has very dry skin that keeps cracking open when he has it on his
chair arm or the cupboard where he sits and reads. What I did was I...

A 'yarn' about teaching by
Noreen's Knit*che
Hi group!
I've just taught a 45 year old woman as well as her 23 year old daughter
the 'basics' of knitting.
How this came about was while entering 3 projects in the local county
fair... the 'registrar' was admiring my work, but felt terrible that she
had never learned... her grandmother knitted...

Can crochet hooks FLY? by
Sew-Sew Lady
While reading the take-along projects messages, I started wondering if any
of you had successfully taken a crochet project along on a flight. Scissors
and knitting needles don't seem to make it on board often, so I was curious
if a crochet project might be a good idea for a flight.

Grrrrr - I hate it when people (web page designer/coder) do that - it's
a real pain to have to back out and open IE *just* to do something -
sigh but I did it :)
Hope you win!!! It doesn't say (at least, not anywhere I looked, I
didn't search too long) - can we vote on a daily basis???

Suggestions for a substitute? by
spampot
At this year's Sheep & Wool Fest, I picked up a pattern at the Euroflax
booth for a knitted handbag. It called for the chunky Euroflax, which
looks rather raffia-like, but that yarn only comes in a few weird
colors, none of which I like or can even stand. I'd like to use a
neutral of some kind. ...

Discussion topic: Aggrevating/irritating projects by
NoraBalcer
Mirjam,
That sounds just like me yesterday. Last year I bought a woodscape picture kit
to do as it said on the box only 4 easy steps. I decided yesterday would be a
good day to start it, wrong. It says to read all the instructions first which I
did, all 10 pages of them. There are 14 colors that...

What is this pattern you just can't put down? I want to have some gifts for
a co-worker due in January and could use some suggestions. I've only be
knitting since January, but have a pretty good grasp of things.
