Another article about 3D printers by Martha[_3_]
See my previous post. Another article on same subject. If it's possible to "print" a 3D object in Cheese Whiz, imagine what you can do with polymer clay, or vice versa:) http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/05/business/05scan.html?ex=1178769600&en=a9633f9b81244a2a&ei=5070 Martha

Another dremel question by Carla
Okay, I just tried using a Scumbuster to some sanding. It was an...interesting experiment :) Along with sanding a few beads, I sanded the inside of the kitchen sink, my nails, and a couple of fingertips. I figure I need a longer rod to hold the bead on, so I don't have to get my hand so close to...

Another newbie with questions.... by Emmett
Hi folks! I've been a member of a couple of other newsgroups for a while, and just discovered this one. I've been doing sculpting and glass wrapping for about 4 years now, after abandoning my artistic side (at least the sculptor part of it) for about 20 years. I'm loving this new world... A...

Another question about Canes by Marissa Undercofler
Sarajane, I know you make square canes, and I am curious about them. In the recent pictures of your square canes, they looked pretty big. I am curious if they are really as big as they looked, and if so, how do you work them down into something smaller? Obviously you can't roll it on the table...

Any advice for high altitude baking? by Oppie
We live above 7000 feet in New Mexico. When cooking food, it does make a difference, mostly due to the decreased boiling point of water (less than 200 degress Fahrenheit at this altitude). Has anyone ever baked polymer at a high altitude? Does it require a lower temperature, or perhaps longer or...

Anybody try new clay Studio by Sculpey? by Martha[_4_]
According to Polyform it's supposed to be very durable and easy to condition, and superior for large projects as it doesn't crack, etc.. Same bake time. Bakes to a "suede finish." Comes in very interesting colors. Just wondering if anybody has tried it. Does it sand/polish well, etc. Martha

Anyone Need Wee Bottles? by Miracle Smith
I've just found a steady source for empty single-dose injection vials, and have a gracious plenty to share with other clayers. At no charge, *IF* you use them to make Bottles of Hope, or other items solely for charity. I'll even send them postpaid, a couple/three dozen at a time. All you need do...

Anything softer than sculpey primo? by Aaron Freeman
I'm having a really hard time getting primo clay to get soft enought to do detailed work - it's really leathery and crumbly. (Did I get a bad batch?) What is the "softest" polymer clay out there?
