Cheryl Isaak
Hi Everyone,
I purchased this issue to read, (and make a list) on the airplane going
home from vacation. Comparing it to issue's in the past, I am not
pleased. Besides the ornaments themselves and picking out which one's I
want to do in the current year, I enjoy reading the stories from the...

Rainbow rascals by
Bruce Fletcher
There's a thread on Facebook about Rainbow Rascals, apparently quite a
few folk have not received goods that have been paid for. Not sure of
the veracity of these claims though.

Are you familiar with this company? Bug Fabric. There are bugs and
critters of all kinds here, including ladybugs and dragonflies. Not
trying to be an enabler ( well not really), but I knew you would need to
know!!

Are Annies Crafts and the Just Cross-stitch magazine all the same
company now?
I seem to get daily emails from Annies (have never used them), and Just
Cross-stitch is invariable mentioned.

Wish me luck! by
Joan Erickson
As always, mine seems to be the first county fair in the country! :)
I will be entering "Through a mother's eyes" and "Furry friends", and
Mandy's ring-bearer pillow (hardanger), some flowers and maybe banana
bread (if I get some made tonight). Entries have to be submitted
tomorrow...

A small finish is still a finish by
Karen C - Calif
I'd gotten a deal on six assorted Mill Hill Christmas ornaments, which
I'm making for my clients (easy to tuck into a card). I started with
Golden Tannenbaum, and remembered why I hate beading. The rest of the
clients will be getting with Kreiniks instead of with beads.

A Good visit by
bobbieviorritto
Had a wonderful visit with Cheryl this morning. We got a chance to catch
up and share some tea and pastries. Cheryl was able to find some buttons
for her projects in mom's excess (poke box).
It is such a shame that life is so busy that friends have to see so
little of each other....

The Maryland Historic Society put out a call some months ago for
quilters to sew a replica of the American flag that flew over Fort
McHenry during the War of 1812, inspiring the "Star Spangled Banner." A
friend of mine worked on it and really enjoyed the experience. Last
weekend was Defender's...

New DMC Colors by
Ruth[_4_]
Read that DMC is adding 16 new colors to it's collection. Anyone else hear about this? The article I read said there will now be something like 480 colors in their collection. Wonder if anyone will be designing a chart to use all those colors in one design? Need an excuse to enhance my stash.
